I'm currently watching 'Miss in Kiss' and PLEASE DON'T follow me in - seriously! it's…
I'm curious, why are you determined to watch it if you hate it?

I hate-watch sometimes but it's very rare so I'm just interested in the reasoning.

I'm so happy to see someone else just as obsessed as me.
My order goes:

1 - Kiss Me, they are my parents and the slight (plot?) twist makes so much sense. I almost cried!
2 - Anime
3 - ISwaK/TKA. Glad for the Jiro Wang & Fahrenheit introduction. I love that I talk about it enough that my tablet knew just how to stylize it my way.
4 - MK/MK2, their chemistry was fantastic. I couldn't believe she is so much younger than him.
5 - Miss in Kiss, I appreciate how each culture changes the story just a bit. The tree is amazing. Plus our leads are perfect!
Will probably move up my list by the end
6 - Manga, I still haven't finished it
7 - Itazura na Kiss, I didn't like the ending. But I felt all the feels. It's just this low because something has to be second to last
8 - Playful Kiss, no doubt about it. Jung So Min did a great job but I never felt his love.

It fascinates me that you describe Irie as a bad boy. I feel like he is anything but. He's an Ikemen, a perfect genius.

Thanks for the article!

I want more variety. There has to be more actors in a larger age range and fully defining what a shoujo is. And what make them qualify a prince. Just the number?

I mean, what about the kids who were/will be in the new InK? Or people with only one project? My question is guess is rather than prince because they do repeats, is most convincing. Who would I dream cast every single time?

Clichés and tropes are two different things. At least 1 cliché happens in every show. A trope is what sets up the plot.
So the list should go

Clichés
9
8
5
4
3

Tropes
7
6
2
1

Some of my favorite clichés
Makeover - male or female
Wrist grab - especially when it turns to hand holding
Sick care - swoon

I don't know if this counts as a cliché in directing but TRIPLE plays!

Love your tropes
Reverse harem is another favorite of mine but rarely done well
Exs is fun as well

I feel like I'm the only one actually enjoying this version of the story XD
I changed my plan and am now on ep 10. Glad my dramas went down so I could commit more time to it. This is now becoming the most anime version for me. I haven't finished the manga. But this one brings the story to life in a very dramatic way. Which is most important to me when adapting from manga/anime.

And it seems like quite a few are changing their minds.

My InK list may get shook up.

Okay so I've watched the first four episodes now and I have to admit this new Taiwanese version is horrible…
Where does Japanese 1996 fall on your list?

I've only seen episode 1 but I was happy with it. I'll be behind because I'm only planning to watch 1 ep a week. I don't think anything can beat Japanese 1996 for me.

Just watched ep 1. I have some SLS but have faith in Jiang winning me over, as Irie(s) always do. Love the Kin-chan(s) but this isn't an endless SLS.
