Lu is an entitled marquis. His scenes are annoying.

Yan's spirit could have appeared at the award presentation. He and Su Mu Zhe could have smiled at each other after she made her speech. I don't recall if she even thanked him for being her best friend. I would have broken down and cried.

You could watch it, and stop before episode 40. I liked about 90% of the plot.

The well was conveniently located for her to fall into it. She did not even break a bone falling into the well.

Yan Zi Jing did not even get a goodbye song.

They even gave him a beautiful 4 minute song of death.

I would have been sobbing uncontrollably if that had happened.

Li Kui was so heavily poisoned by Prince when he was arrested by Zhang Jinran. I figured he was too far gone to reveal the antidote for Yan's poison.

That came to mind immediately when he started coughing.

Did Su Mu Zhe and Cui Shi Jiu plan ahead for Cui to infiltrate the Zheng House to bring down Zheng Shi Yuan? They had an adversarial relationship in public view, but later they were drinking like old buddies after ZY was dead.

They are really trying to build up the momentum. XD Or, they decided to change the ending based on feedback, and needed time to edit the final episodes.

I think two episodes are expected today. I am guessing we will see one episode tomorrow, and final two on Friday.

Zheng might have to sign over what is left of his empire to Cui.

Also the teamwork and communication between Yan and Zhang! They are sharing intel freely.

I was suspicious of Kang Ming, too. What happened to the Blood Pearl? No one has mentioned it for ten plus episodes.

Direcor gave Xu the option; coughhing blood or biting a fingernail. Was the letter addressed to Prince? Did he really expect the guard to find a messenger to ride to Chang'an?

Xu kept referring to Master. Who is Master? Prince Ying?

I think the writers didn't delve into the motivations of the characters as they constructed the story and the scripts. ML is moving along with the flow. Yan's doppelganger in Legend of Anle was also superficial. He was a strategic planner, but we never saw him planning anything. Things just happened. I am glad Kang Ju has been beside Yan all along, to support him in his trials and tribulations. A true brotherhood!

When I see her in red and green, I think she is dressed for Christmas. She changed into a red and blue dress, that looked pretty.

Xu used a lot of blood to write his long blood letter. Did he use his finger nail? He wrote neatly, too.
