When Xiao Heng combed her hair, and vanished into thin air, I thought he was a spirit coming to say goodbye to her.

They were the highlight of the plot, in addition to the scenes with both Jiang Li XFF and Xiao Heng.

I cried when Wen Li and Ju Li died, and the scene between Jiang Li and Mr Jiang.

It was a string of vignettes, and the dialog was boring until the little daughter appeared. Writer could have done better with the five minutes.

I am disappointed fhst the writer killed off Wen Ji and Lu Ji. The ending was also vague. The director could have shown Jiang and Xiao Heng in the same frame. I thought the combing hair scene meant that Duke Su was dead since he had disappeared into thin air. The bonus episode was snippets.

I think this is the first costume drama in a long while where the romance kicks in toward the end of the drama.

It was love at first sight when she saw Shen Yurong. These princesses live such sheltered lives in their palaces, that they immediately fall for the first good looking man in sight.

I am surprised that she is telling everybody who she is. What prompted her to suddenly decide to tell Ye Shi Jie?

The only thing I like about her, is her wardrobe. The costume designs are very pretty.
