I had the same impression that an arrow went though her. Yan was on the side, shooting at the flying arrow, so there no way he would have shot an arrow directly into her torso or her shoulder. Writer and Director went off track.

Just when I started to like Cao... they take him out.. He and Wei might have become a couple. Loud got his voice, and was functioning as a guard. Shrimp had so much potential. Writer is evil.

Writer is the real villain.

Why didn't he shoot at the Arrow Man when he saw him aiming at Duanwu? Yan seemed to be a fast shooter. He might have been able to take out Arrow Man.

After episode 18, I am thinking that the writer and director are ruthless. I am not anticipating a feel good ending, after the recent costume C-drama endings.

I do not understand why the writer killed off all of Yan's people and Shrimp. That is so cruel. Loud, Cao, Wei and the other men were faithful to Master Yan for many years. So, the writer was saying that they were fish out of water in the desert, and could not defend themselves against bandits. When they were on the water, I am sure they had come across ruthless pirates and defeated them. This is beyond belief. Yan should have told them what to expect from the Black Bandits. I was stunned when Shrimp died.

I have the same opinion of Cuo Shi Jiu. Is she going to rectify the Pearl farm slavery business after experiencing the sub-human treatment in the Wuling mines?

Writer brought Steward Cao back. He's pulling his weight now for the company. He looked good once he cleaned up. I hope he does not betray the Yan company.

Yu Hong Hai (Kang Ju) is moving up the ranks in the supporting cast. He's in #5 position. Most of his previous jobs, he's in the middle of the supporting list.

He should have had a bigger role.

He's my most favorite character in the drama.

It was a very popular drama during the broadcast period. The comments on dramacool are tremendous as well.

I watched it on kisskh and dramacool.

I did not like some of the editing techniques, including the trick photography, which do not belong in a pseudo-historical period drama.

I watched so many dramas, I can't recall most of them.
