It is plausible that the shoulder reveal would be critical news for Anle and Mingxi, and the viewers. This reassures us that Han Ye is intelligent, and the plot is moving along. The writer left out the intel. How did Mingxi find out so quickly?
We don't know if they are trimming scenes, or if it is just convenience writing. Example: Writers say, "Let's write a scene where Han Ye comes into the room, Cheng En stumbles, exposing her bare shoulder. He notices there is no scar. Then, next scene, let's have Mingxi tell Anle that Han Ye saw Cheng En's bare shoulder, and did not see a scar." LOL
Can anyone explain Anle's initial motivation for approaching Crown Prince Han Ye? Did she really want to become Crown Princess, or just to irritate and string him along? The touchy feely moments are constant. Are Anle and Mingxi plotting to take down Emperor and Mother Dowager, and instill Han Ye as Emperor?
Episode 17 complete and the fake DZY-fest continues. Can someone please tell the production company to stop ruining…
Cheng En is working hard to make herself relevant to the plot. LOL I really want to see Han Ye and Anle working on criminal investigations, and impressing the peasants.
Di Cheng En is such a hoochie. That mountain was pure trash. Even if she would've had a scar, CP wasn't going…
The writing is beyond belief. After the scene where Han Ye noticed that Cheng En did not have a big scar on her right shoulder, Mingxi runs into Anle some minutes later, and tells her that Han Ye did not see the scar. Now, how did Mingxi deduce that? Mo Qing does not know about the missing scar. Mingxi must have a crystal ball.
The CP selection process was a joke. Those three bitches who bitched about DYZ were not kicked out of the selection…
Some of the scenes, episodes or dialog needed constructive criticism. With so many chiefs in charge, they could have improved the quality of the drama.
I don't like fake ZY, seriously, she doesn't look like someone who's been 10 year in the mountain, she rather…
Yeah... what else did she learn at the mountain? Did he teach her the instrument, and singing and dancing? Did Mo Qing also teach her embroidery, sewing and floral arrangement? Did he cook her meals? Where did the food ingredients come from?
And its the same act from her over and over. Manipulating her bodyguard while putting on the timid act. 🤦♀️…
Some of the writing is silly. When Han Ye said that, I wondered when did he doubt her identity before. He never showed us. If you and I did not meet for ten years, it would never occur to me that your writing is exactly like it was, ten years ago. 🤔 🖊

Does anyone wonder about the 3D map of the country on Mingxi's office floor? From the front side, it looks like ocean waves. From above, you see the mountainous terrain and towns. It dominates the scene, and Mingxi is not doing much with it. I am still waiting for him to start the stratagic planning.
Right, it's not easy to find a Reba look-alike but there's Nazha, Angelababy. Gina Jin, Peng Xiao Ran....I guess…
When Mingxi was looking for a beggar double, he wasn't thinking he was a casting agent. How old was he, btw? He just needed a female locked away on the mountain, in case Emperor sent a fact checker.
In real life, they could not cast an actress resembling Dilraba, because Pirate Ren Anle and Di Zi Yuan could be perceived as relatives. ...if the characters were smart.

I counted four directors on dramawiki.
Director: Cheng Zhi Chao (chief), Ma Hua Gan, Li Hong Yu, Su Fei Screenwriter: Zhao Xuan, Li Xin Ran (黎欣然), Lu Xing Xuan (陆星璇), Leng Xue (冷雪) Producer: Mei Zi Xiao (chief), Tian Fang (田芳), Mei Qing Hai, Sun Yu Yang Executive Producer: Xie Ying (chief), Liu Jia Li
The drama looks like "too many cooks spoiled the broth." With four screenwriters, it is no wonder that the writing is diluted.
With so many producers, directors, screenwriters on the payroll, one might think this was a 100 plus episode drama.
It may be my imagination, but after seventeen episodes, we haven't seen a villain working fulltime.

There were only three people in the room, MQ, CE and HY.
I thought Marquis Zhong was the main villain in the massacre, but he has been keeping a low profile.
