It looks like fake Ziyuan is written like that for a reason. I can't stand her either. She's always grabbing the bodyguard. She knows what she is doing. The makeup does not help either. I can't wait for her to blurt out to Dowager Empress, Emperor or Marquis Zhong that she is an imposter, and that the real Ziyuan has been living dangerously for ten years, and plotting revenge.

I agree with you. I liked the Ren Anle character in the first few episodes, but she is turning into a clingy female. It got boring after a while. I hope she shifts gears soon. I am getting tired of Han Ye defending Fake Di as Crown Princess material.

Luo MingXi also caught my eye. I am only on episode 4, and I look forward to his scenes. Is he good or bad? I can see that he is jealous of Crown Prince when CP is with Anle.

I am on episode 23. Shang Chuan is a lying two-faced snake. What he did to Mo, is despicable. He has no conscience or integrity. The lies coming out of his mouth, and she believed all of them. He deserves that twisted fiancee Ai Lin, another two-faced snake.

The episodes with the young charscters were very good. The time jump was ten years, and ML grew six inches. The final revenge is at the end. The drama plot and plot twists dragged on and on. The drama should be 24 episodes only.

The director and writer were focused on her POV thoughts, so her expression is bland in those moments. They should have found a way for her to say the lines, to give her more depth.

I started Outsider today, so I am late to the party. I finished watching three episodes. The actor playing Wang Jian looks 30; too old looking to be a precollege student. Vengo Gao looks tall and svelte. I liked FL in the Candle in the Tomb drama. The satellite characters are annoying at times.

During the conversation between Papa Jiang and Son Lou, there was no singing drowning out their dialog. In episode 40, somebody started singing during the dialog between xxx and yyy. It completely muddled the conversations for the Chinese speaking viewers and the international viewers. The song placement was bad.
