Yu Yu and the father are so riotous together. I like their lively bantering. So refreshing I like that she records…
When Dr Ye's father suddenly showed up, and was not going away, I was worried that he had a terminal disease, like they have done in other dramas. Glad, it was only his impending wedding.
I am still hoping that Yu Yu gets his way and they end up dropping the renovation project from that creepy artist.…
I agree. The man is harassing Xia. I thought she should block his number, but in he long run, if she keeps all his text messages and phone messages, she will have evidence to use against him.
The way everyone acts as if they have the moral high ground against Yu Yu, Just because He doesn't want to take…
I agree with you on the Lin Sa and Shen Wu interaction with Yu Yu. There was a scene where Shen Wu ended up pushing Yu Yu to the ground. Yu Yu is so timid inside, that he did not react to it. In reality, Yu Yu would have retaliated and slapped Shen Wu.
Does Yu Yu have his own architectural business, and is he working with Lin Sa's design company? She seems to be controlling Yu Yu. She shows up with snacks, and a massager, which she starts using on him. I don't think Yu Yu and Lin Sa ever had that close relationship. She has been in love with him for many years. Shen Wu is so mediocre after ten years working with Yu Yu. He hasn't matured. He should be 30ish, but acts like he is 20.
Honestly at this point, they should just add Dao the dog to the supporting cast π€£
Pug Dao is my #1 favorite character. He is stealing the show. I am waiting to see Yu Yu taking care of Dao. Dao might be the only individual to enter Yu Yu's apartment, besides Dr Jia.
Dao Ge(Pug) and Yu Yu resting upon the grass whilst gazing out towards the horizon, their presence brimming with…
Pug Dao is stealing the show. He reacts to his Mom and Yu Yu when they are talking to each other. His reaction shots are top notch. I think Yu Yu's name is Dao. He and Pug Dao have a connection.
I binge watched the first nine episodes yesterday. Some of the plot is identical to the K-drama, He Who Can't Marry. Wallace Hao and Ji Jin Hee even look alike in a few scenes. I did not see the J-drama version, to know if the plots are identical. I like Wallace Hao and Zhu Zhu, and the pug Dao. The other characters irritate me sometimes. If I remember correctly, Ms Lin was in love with Yu Yu for years. I had recognized Ouyang's face from somewhere. I didn't know it was Edward Zhang until I checked the castlist.
I keep waiting for Yu Yu to buy an expensive car from Xia's car dealer, so she can earn a big commission.
Er Ye transformed while in Opera costume, and he looked pretty in Opera makeup. He had a beautiful wardrobe throughout the drama. I watched his side story, The Mystic Nine Side Story: Flowers Bloom in February, but I forgot the plot.
Thanks for the tip on Southern Anecdote. I recognize the two MLs. They look handsome in the black uniform. I hope they have the special Zhang family skills.
The blog is active, but the original ladies moved on. The recaps are under Old Nine Gates. You can check out a few episodes when you have time. The recaps and comments were just as funny. All the squeecaps were written by the ladies. There might have been five ladies.
This is the first time that I am watching a tomb-raiding-themed drama and it was quite interesting in the beginning.…
The villains were very chatty. πππ It would be nice if the director and producer could re-edit the drama, and trim the story down to 30 episodes. They could remove all the filler and flashbacks, shorten the tomb adventures and shorten the scenes with the villains. Even if there are still big plot holes, they could salvage the story. I watched it mainly for the Handsome Four and ZLY.
I followed a blog site, Problematic of the Unproblematic, during the drama, nine years ago. The web mistress and her associates had the funniest episode recaps of M9. They called Chen Pi, the Nose. Even though the filler and flashbacks irritated me immensely, I can still recall 90 to 95% of the drama. I can't say the same for dramas I have watched in the last few months. πππ
Sad that Zhang Yixing has not made dramas recently.
First thing first, I am enjoying this one. But I do think there are some FF moments. And itβs not very plot…
I also had a thought that Master was her father. He treated her like she was his beloved child. She and Crazy Princess could be sisters. ππ He is my most favorite character in the drama. I am glad for the flasbacks for the first time in a C-drama.

I liked Liu Yu Ning in the Tomb drama. I remember the black glasses. It made his character stand out among the cast. ππ
