Father's title is Grand Tutor, but he seemed to be controlling Emperor, demanding that Emperor marry his daughter to become powerful. I don't get why Emperor was going along with the Grand Tutor's plot. I would have have expected the Prime Minister to be the most powerful individual in the court.

I am wondering if Prince Xiao Qian Qing and Zhong Lin will end up as a couple. It sounds like Cang Cang calls Bai Chi Fan, Xiao Bai, when they have met very recently.

They wasted the budget on unnecessary plots and scenes. They should have trimmed the scripts down to 32, and removed all the tomb filler and flashbacks. There were too many plot holes. With 32 episodes, the plot holes might not be as noticeable,a nd it would have rated 9 for the good looking guys.
