ok so I just finished the worst of evil and I kind of found the bromance towards the end to be forced? truth is there wasnt much connection between the 2 MLs and strong emotional bond at least from Ji Chang Wook' side as he always wanted to catch him or kill him and so on .. so for them to make him have a change of heart towards him in the end made no sense to me, esp after saying that this whole operation without gichul is pointless and then he let him escape? Same goes about his feelings for the 2nd FL, chemistry may have been there but I never felt his feelings towards her? he was always thinking about his wife.
and what was that death? the man wanted to commit suicide, I thought he was actually going to shoot his hand to prevent him or so but he shot and killed him? while watching his wife running to his rescue?
that marriage was doomed from when she first entered the mission and got involved deeper with GiChul, so I had no issue with how they ended but it did feel underwhelming, even the appearance of his father I thought to be crucial, wasnt used properly. ML's ending is realistic, as he gained nothing from that mission but got his life ruined
I found the second half of the drama to be better but last episodes were disappointing.
so when the husband said I have sent someone .. im not so sure if its a lie, I think he sent someone to look if jang hyun bought her? and what if that person reported she is happy and all, and now he will want to kill them =/
what an episode! dont know what will happen with the remaining 6 ... and more heartache awaits us, but pleaaaaase someone kills the 2nd FL fast and gets rid of her, the one day he will be mine is irritating me
the way he acted like a teenager finally getting his old self back was everything!
what an episode!!! finalllyyy been dying for this moment, and pleasssse someone take away that woman and the romantic music that they keep putting cause its getting on my nerves.. our ML should stop being nice to strangers cause only more trouble for us ....
I disagree, and I think the show will definitely get a lot darker in upcoming episodes, first 2 episodes build…
build up is great honestly, there is character depth to the ML and his family background which is great, I didnt mean it in this way, and like you said it will probably get darker which Im looking forward to, as I mentioned its too early to judge
how dark do you expect it to be💀💀??? Is the "Worst of Evil" as dark as this??💀💀
unfortunately no its not haha, I havent caught up for the latest 2 episodes, but the worst of evil is more gore than dark? I like how it played out by episode 7 ending, but there is something missing that I cant put my finger on ? like an emotional impact?
evilive is certainly darker, but from the first 2 episodes I kind of expected something different, but still its good, its too early to judge anyway
I was a bit disappointed in these 2 episodes, acting is great but I was kind of expecting it to have a darker tone? the psychological part is there but wish they made it heavier, I wanted their prison scenes and conversations to be longer, how he can have a strong effect on the ML and play a mind game on him.. maybe something similar to lessons in murder?
Im hoping upcoming episodes will get darker, Im not interested in action and fight scenes but more of a psychological game

Cast did great, but story lacked.
great acting from everyone
that cameo and insider reunion was a bonus 👌

maybe to save jong jong? breaking my heart!
which means who accompany or associates with people for forty days, becomes one of them.. thats pretty much what we saw our ML turn into lol
