It really relayed the stress of having to pass an exam well XD good story and the teaching methods are quite quirky.
And thinking about the ending (spoilers):
I does something far more important than giving a 100% feelgood ending. It shows that life continues also after what seems like a big failure, it doesn't have to be all or nothing. Because the effort they put in, may help them in their other paths too.
Spoiler post below about the story of this movie, for anyone curious:
So this is the third installment of the “Edo Candy” series. It depicts a world inhabited solely by men with unique visual beauty. Based on stories and history surrounding the Genji and Heike clans.
The Taira clan lives above ground, while the defeated Minamoto clan resides in underground caverns. Shana-ō (also known as Minamoto no Yoshitsune), the second prince of the Minamoto clan, captivates people with his strength and elegance, yet his beloved powerful older brother, Yoritomo, ignores him.
The movie starts with a falcon landing on Shana-ō & cuts to the cave where a long-haired man called Benkei is seen sleeping with other men for strategy-reasons. Benkei meets up with Shana-ō and they look at the leader of the enemy Taira clan in his castle. Benkei starts to reminisce about how he met and fell in love with Shana-ō in their first battle. Shana-ō however does not share in his feelings.
We meet the older brother Yoritomo and see he has an obsession with his daughter, the princess. The princess has a doll that she really likes. The queen is kind of neglected due to the princess being the favorite. Shana-ō and Benkei plan to sneak into the enemy Taira clan who are having a party. However, a blonde guy convinced the princess to go to that same party too and so she is roaming around there too.
Shana-ō attends the masquerade ball hosted by his arch-enemy, the Taira clan, where he meets Tomomori, the second son of Taira no Kiyomori. The two are strongly drawn to each other. The princess loses her disguise and a fight breaks out. One son of the Taira clan and the princess die from gunwounds.
Older brother Yoritomo is furious to find out about the princess death and orders the capture of Shana-ō as he blames him. Meanwhile the queen still gets ignored.
Tomomori of Taira clan visits a bishop in the cave and tries thinking of ways to help out the dead-princess situation, he starts a search for Shana-ō himself. Meanwhile Shana-ō and Benkei are suffering as they are on the run in the snow, they stop at a lake and see Tomomori of Taira clan. Shana-ō and Tomomori have a talk and Benkei sees they have chemistry and runs away in jealousy back to the clan-cave where he talks to older brother Yoritomo. Shana-ō and Tomomori meanwhile search for Benkei and go back to the clan-cave too.
The older brother Yoritomo holds Benkei hostage and kills him in front of Shana-ō (rip). The queen urges Shana-ō to take revenge because she feels unhappy about her marriage but this fails and gets herself killed. Shana-ō and Yoritomo stand on a cliff and older brother Yoritomo kisses Shana-ō for some reason as a final goodbye or something.
Shana-ō falls off a cliff and appears in a world of cherryblossom trees. He sees two women approach him who don't seem to know about the existence of men; as he has landed in a parallel world with only women. The two women who approached him are the parallel version of him and Benkei. He asks female Benkei if she is happy, she says yes. With this Shana-ō can let go of his guilt and he turns into the previously shown doll of the princess. The female version of Benkei and Shana-ō (who were already walking away) turn around and see the doll. They adopt the doll and take it with them. The end.

Actually its a really good show and I hope with the longer release-time it's gonna pick up popularity. I think if you watch the trailer you'll see that there's a lot going on and the stakes are high.
Hm hm when my original comment was made, it was still in that strict-phase without any solutions. Nowadays they're just using other countries to publish shows like this.
It feels like the drama is kinda rounding off with having seen previews of ep 29-30 but there's still like 8 episodes to go. Really curious what the last part is going to be like because it seems enemies pop up everywhere in this show so who is next.
I can't find a summary but essentially some family is keeping one of their sons imprisoned as a statue-maker and pretending the other brother made the statues.
Then some maffia guy confronts the statue-maker guy and they meet multiple times and seem to like each other.
