Not necessarily, most Japanese BLs will focus on a happy ending instead of putting the kiss in for last. Yeah sometimes the ending is a kiss but I'm pretty sure they wanna end this show with a monologue from Adachi about his life.

Ohh I never watched the spinoffs ending. I just remember people hating it xD I stopped right before they all went on some groupdate. Haruta and Maki forever.

A lot of the early comments on this drama page were related to Ossans Love as well. Its difficult not to make comparisons since Ossans Love was also very popular in the Japanese BL scene.

But yeah I tried the spinoffs but couldn't get into it. The old dude was still funny as always but the new characters just didn't click for me.

I've seen rumors on Weibo about the synopsis of these two episodes going around as well. I mean.. they gotta do the kiss sometime in the series. We'll know if when we see it I suppose.

Episodes 9 and 10 are fluff confirmed!!!!!
These episodes are just gonna be Kurosawa and Adachi living the couple-life and Tsuge continueing to live his chaotic anxiety life (relatable though, good luck Tsuge!).

So Kurosawa and Adachi go for a fooddate for ep 9 and amusement date (with high chance for kiss) for ep 10.

Lowkey fearing an Ossans Love situation now where they would keep doing spinoffs with Adachi as a main character and different males he falls in love with each season.

Kidding I know that won't happen. I just miss Maki and Haruta from the best Ossans Love version.

Yes I think it they won't wait that much longer with the reveal to Kurosawa. I mean..There's not that much we need to hear from Kurosawas thoughts anymore since we know him very well now. It'll be cute when he knows he can use it to communciate with Adachi.

Ep 8 is completely different from the manga besides that the 4 main characters do meet. Kurosawa will also likely get a bit jealous when he first sees Tsuge but get over it quickly.

It'd be funny if they throw us mangareaders for a surprise and just immediately do the reveal when Kurosawa first sees Tsuge and Adachi together. Likely won't happen though.

I think sometime Kurosawa has got to start suspecting Adachi a bit if they continue it for much longer though.

Yes I personally prefer the more relaxed (so least overacting possible) FL characters as well so I understand.

Ehh Thai BL is usually overflowing with angst and lust. So it's not as comical as it sounds lmao xD
Good example is Why R U if you wanna see one but you gotta sit through a lot of stuff before they do the typical bedscenes.

I'm glad for the community-aspect as well :D The pictures are just adorable ^^ I think a lot of people are afraid to join in on watching Cherry Magic since they'll have to wait for new episodes but its not that bad if you're not waiting alone.

Yes happy birthday! Yeah he may have stood in the way of the Kurosawa x Adachi romance at times but he's a very enthusiastic character!

For the longest time I actually wasn't sure when he found out since I only read that part of the manga with picture snippets online.
So when you mentioned this I looked back at some pictures of the Chinese manga version I recently saved and realised the moment thanks to the heart/mind kanji.
Although I don't think it'll go very similar in the drama version based on what I've seen in the preview. At least for episode 8.

Telepathy problems. Kurosawa is gonna think the two are having some kind of romance moment together (staring into each others eyes silently) while they're probably just conversing about how Tsuge has issues he needs to address.

Well, that depends. Yes you will experience cravings if you start now but I think its a once in a lifetime experience that is best enjoyed over a long timeperiod and with a community. So you may as well start early and join the rest of us ^^
