Am I the only one who low key like the mildly viallaneous sister?
There is part of me who can see her point.

The way I screamed when I saw that one dollar lawyer cameo. It feels good to watch a drama and know a random reference.
That was EPIC! I loved it.
Now, wouldn't be the best twist ever if Park Jin U turns out to be a mole, and he is still part of the One Dollar lawyer team? lol

Who is Jooran ?
It is the character she played in "Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born"
Personally, I LOVED it, and got into my top Kdramas list. But, that is partially because I loved the subject matter.
The series wasn't widely talked about because it is Disney+ exclusive. Otherwise, I think it would have gained more prominence worldwide.

Wood Da Vi is probably 3rd lead, but her character is very important and very integral to the series. She had a good screentime.

I am happy that Woo Da Vi is 2nd lead.
The role is nowhere as good as Jooran, but I am happy for her, and I hope she gets more roles in a more serious dramas.

Please no spoilers.

This being produced by an American company, does it have an end, or at least a complete arc?, or do I need to wait, and maybe get some answers in subsequent season(s) if they do any?

With very serious regret I am putting this on hold. The writing is really mediocre, and it is not holding my interest.…
I appreciate your measured and polite responses @brodiew, @milZyy, @Baby MJ, and Teens804. I think it is a matter of perceiving things differently. Same scene can be viewed differently.
As I mentioned above, I put it on hold. I didn't drop it. In other words, there is a chance I will come back to it later. I absolutely love the set up, and as I said I love the main 2 leads.
But, I am simply not vibing with the writing and many scenes. I mentioned 2 examples, but I have more. There is no "smoking gun", but a series of small things that add up to a lot.

With very serious regret I am putting this on hold.
The writing is really mediocre, and it is not holding my interest. I don't understand why there is a need to introduce "humour" so frequently?. Couldn't we have just straight drama?
And, it is not even funny, or creative humour. Just silly one that takes away from the scene and situation.
Also, I strongly dislike when they have characters who never done something, and they are suddenly the one who have ideas, but people who have done it for decades can't think of it. And, the only reason for that is they are the main characters.
You have 16 episodes! cut that crappy "humour" and work on proper character developments and realistic progression.
I am bitterly disappointed, because this was one of my most anticipated series.
I really love the leads.
But, as I always say, writing is the corner stone of any work.
It is better to have strong writing with mediocre actors rather than the other way around.

Strong premise and set-up. Strong cast.
But, I think the writing is only Ok. The tone is all over place, and the storytelling is a bit loose.
I hope it will find its stride and rythem as it progresses.

So, Sung Dong II role is already done?
That is really disappointing. He was one the major attractions for me (after Kim Min Ha).
Jun Ho looks very clearly older than 26 despite the youthful look of the Korean actors. Couldn't they just make him 30? I don't think it would have made big difference.

Anyway, other than that, it is a solid first episode. I didn't find it great (lots of needless scenes) but the setting is promising.

Nobody can tell me this is not GL. Jooran and Jeongnyeon's parting is not how besties say goodbye đŸ˜č those are…
*Just watched E11*
I have complained sooooo much about people shipping friends and seeing love when it is just friendship.
BUT, 100% agree with you. That is not how friends say goodbye.
I mean who would say to her friend "My one and only prince"? (This line is SO F* memorable!!)
I also don't think that we always need a kiss, but it was NEEDED here. The scene demanded it.
It is an absolute cowardice that TvN didn't go for it. (I am 100% convinced this was the network decision, not the creative team).
I think the creative team shoould have implied it if they were not allowed to do it.

Anyway, the series is AMAZING! I still have one episode to go.

I just want people to contemplate this:

The movie "As Good As It Gets" in 1997 starred Jack Nicholson & Helen Hunt. It was a rom-com with a 26 (Twenty Six) years age gap.
The movie was a massive artistic and commercial success. It won Oscars for both lead. The movie itself was nominted for best picture.
It also won both leads comedy awards, and whole bunch of other stuff.
Commercially it made around $320m. Adjusted for inflation almost $650m!!! And they didn't need any special effects or being a franchise.

My point is if the writing is good enough, and the drama has high quality artistic elements, then it shouldn't be big problem. Also, when people are above 35, age gap start to matter less.

On a purely personal level, I don think the difference is a bit big, but it is not such a big issue to stop me from watching. The quality of the drama itself what will ultimately matter.

Go Youn Jung.....*sigh*. I'll be open minded given the team behind it.Nice to see Oh Jung Se.
You were having such a nice and interesting conversation and I was reading it with interest before you decided to switch to your language.
I understand it is easier, but that was a pity, because you excluded everybody else.

from Park Hae Young's essay:"This time, it’s a real comedy. When I say comedy, I don’t mean “funny”…
Hmmm.
I am not too excited by this.
Another Miss Oh "funny" parts were mostly terrible.
The best thing she did was leaving all the cringness away from My Mister.
It is fine to have some humour scattered, but a character like the brother and his girlfriend in Another Miss Oh was SOOOO cringe I had to fastforward almost all the brother scenes.

She is the best Korean screenwriter in terms of simple, but deep dialogues imo. I hope she stick to that, and leave comedy to others.

Oh boy, this did not need a third season. I loved the ending of season 2, it really was better than I expected.…
Please don't watch S3 if you also think S2 wrapped it very nicely.
Unless you take an action these platforms will keep producing more and more useless seasons and ruin shows.
There is no point of complaining, but then watching. You will be just assisting in maintaining the situation.

It is an Ok series.
Certainly watchable thanks to the leads and very polished and sleek presentation. In short, it has very nice exterior.
However, I couldn’t connect a lot with its content. Most cases were underwhelming apart from maybe 2 or 3 at most.
I liked episodes 9 & 10 the most. E04 was also a decent one.
The office politics and power struggle is what I enjoyed most in the series.
All in all it is mildly enjoyable, but I have already forgot most of it.

Is that why you jumped from the window? Lets see what happen next week, and next week, and week, as the series…
My apologies, it looks like you didn't get the reference. I was making a joke.
Have you actually read/seen Macbeth by William Shakespeare?
From your handle I assumed you are a fan of the play.
I was making a wordplay based on the events of it, and its most famous speech.
