Tell me about some PMY fans. I once said I like the 2FL acting more. That got me a "shut up" (without any elaboration) which had 30 likes lool.
Yes about the episodes number. With few tweakings this could have concluded in E12 (drop some stuff from earlier episodes to make room for wrap up), and it would have been very satsfying.
I think "Business Proposal" was great example of that.
This was going great but ep12 is disappointing 1. How can she get mad without listening to JH explanation like…
Thank You! I have probably written this 4 or 5 times then deleted it. You put it so nicely because I was rambling.
Point 1 in particular. I find her reaction so extreme. I honestly can't understand it. It woud have been fine if she got upset, or had a fight with him, or got sulky. That would be a more normal reaction. But breaking off the relationship over an arranged engagment where parties were hardly together and only last little bit!!! Also, what is even more surprising and strange is that she is essentially in agremeent with the ex-fiance. The difference is in the behaviour. But, in essence she agree that he belongs to her. I can get over this non-sense of introducing two villians so late, but this manufactured break up and angst is really off putting. I got emotional when she was in the car with her friend, but I didn't feel anything whatsoever when she was crying her eyes out and lamenting her luck because I simply didn't feel the sincerity of events.
E12: I didn't like it. I didn't hold very high opinion about the drama, but I always find it fun, and enjoyable. Sadly, this episode was neither fun nor enjoyable. It was ridiculous!
Some of the directions this adaptation has gone in has made some of the satisfying moments from the story less…
I think it is hard for me to do so, because I am basing my opinion only on the drama. You have a much more detailed knowledge, so even if you see some difference you can contexualise them. I can't. I have only seen them in few scenes, and I didn't like them in any.
I understand people change, and some people have done way worse things, but we viewers can appreciate them and forgive them. The difference is in those cases there is long journey. In case of these 3, I have only seen few scenes.
oh! you should watch "Mr Queen". He is an interesting, and conflicting character there (he is not male lead though)That…
It is about a modern day top chef who ends up in the body of a Joseon Queen. Shin Hye Sun plays the Queen. I like this trope, so I have seen lots of stuff in many languages (and I am a middle age person), and I can honestly say I have never seen a better performance in similiar role. She is brilliant!
However, if you don't enjoy this type of drama, then fair enough. maybe it is not for you. No drama is for everybody.

Interesting. I haven't read the source material, but I totally hate those 3 bullies, and even posted that I am not cheering for them just because they are bullying someone other than Jiwon. I absolutely hated that wedding scene. I didn't find it funny, and my thoughts were not about Soomin suffering more, but why are you asking me to cheer these bullies?? So, yeah..you are right.
Ep 11 - what a beautiful performance by In Woo (ML), it was so moving. I did not know this actor before this series…
oh! you should watch "Mr Queen". He is an interesting, and conflicting character there (he is not male lead though) That said, Mr Queen is AWSOME!!! you will witness one of the best acting performances (Korean or otherwise) by Shin Hye Sun.
This show really got nothing going for it except the cast... sigh. Nothing is logical or makes sense, more holes…
While I don't think the series is great, it is still fun and enjoyable. You must admit that it is a legitimate question why are you still watching a series you think so low of? It is not the fact that you dislike it I am questioning. You have 100% the right to do so. I am just puzzled that you watched 11 episodes. There are litreally hundred of TV shows to watch nowdays.
*JiWon password memory is impressive lol. I have trouble to remember my work passwords after holiday. *I am happy they didn't go with "noble scarifice through miscommunication", but they flirted with it. *Minhwan's mother is worse that her son and Sumin put together. *JiWon vs. Sumin scene was great!. *I HATED those 3 showing up. I know it is meant to be funny, and add anguish to Sumin, but those 3 are bullies, and we shouldn't cheer for them just because they are not bullying JiWon. *I am curious to see how they are going to deal with Joo Ran canncer (I haven't read the webtoon). I can't imagine them letting her die.

Hi, I read some comments that this a tabloid, so I am not going to read it. But, even if this was in a respectful website I don't agree with it. I believe it is non-sense that all (or even high percentage) are watching because of the second leads only. Maybe I wasn't clear, but I was trying to show, even someone like me who find SHY more interesting still find JiWon the character and PMY the actress good. I might not share the same level of enthusiasm for PMY as many others, but I still think she is doing a good job especially in the early episodes. I felt she played the put on, weak person better.
This website seems to have some grudge against PMY. They tried to attack her, it didn't work, and now they are attacking the drama. I wouldn't worry too much. The drama is doing so well even on Amazon! Also, the overwhelming majority of people probably don't even read the news about the drama. They are just watching it and enjoying it.
Did anyone else see this stupid title on Allkpop or its just me - '''Marry My Husband' viewers say they only pay…
I don't know this website, but for me there is VERY CLEAR distinction between the actor as a person, the actor playing a character, and the character portrayed. I NEVER mix between these things (I think mixing them in a positive or negative way is the source of many problems) Personally I think Song Ha Yoon is the best actor in this drama, but she is playing an utterly despicable person. Lee Yi Kyung character is SOOOO bad and horrible , it is bodering on caricature. I certainly have the biggest sympathy with Ji Won. As a character I feel for her very much and I think her arc is believable so far and I was very satsfied with E9 & E10.. All that said, I just don't find PMY particularly great. I think she is doing a good job, but it is not something that making me want to watch her other dramas (on contrary, now I am curious about Song Ha Yoon). Yoo ji Hyuk is a great and wonderful guy, but the script is not helping him. I think Na In Woo is doing his best with what he has, and I find him convincing. I believe he is portraying his character well. It is just that the character is a bit bland.
Very good drama! The two female leads are outstanding. Ra Mi Ran is fastly becoming one of my favourite Korean actresses after watching her in Reply 1988 and this one. But the entire cast is great. I don't know how realistic the series is, but I think even if they exaggerate these problems are real. There are certain similarties between this and Stove League, so if you liked one check the other.
how's this series so far?should I start this or not?
It depends on your taste. In my opinion it is worth the time. It is fun and enjoyable, but overrated. So, my recommendation is watch it, but temper your expectations.
I know my opinion is probably unpopular, but I don't care. I find Song Ha Yoon acting better than Park Min Young. I came to this series without prejudices. I am seeing both of them for the first time.
Few thoughts on Episode 9: * Are we meant to forgive these school bullies and pin it on Soomin? As far as I am concened, they are bullies. I might give them mitagiting circumstances because they were young, but they didn't seem to change a lot as adults. They are just ganging to bully someone else. *The meet the parents scene, and the future mother in law was played with exaggeration and over the top rudness for obvious reasons, and I am fine with that. But, what crossed my mind is that the sad thing is the substance of what she said is probably not that far from real life. * "Ahjumma" that was the best moment of the episode for me! (I am sure I am not alone, but It is satsfying as an International viewer when you start picking not only words/phrases, but also their implications without the need for subtitles) *Flipping Minhuwan was also very satsfying.
