I rarely rewatch c dramas and this is along the rarest that I always go back too so sad you can't finish it
Maybe you should give vertical dramas a try. They range from between 2- 15 minutes and some have surprisingly good production quality. Or, some historical kdramas are typically between 12-16 episodes. For me, this drama isn't long enough, because I like watching day to day life in history lol! But I understand where you're coming from. Cheers!
Here for another rewatch. I can't describe how much I adore this drama. Soothing, healing, wholesome; a total feast to the senses. Love the relationship between the main leads at all stages. Love the relationship between the fl and her adopted granny, as well as fl and her step mom. The friendship among all four-ml, fl, her adopted cousin and uncle. The camaraderie between the ml and his aide; fl and her real dad. Love how smart main leads are and how they support and understand each other. Love how the bad guys get what's coming to them one after the other. It's more than just a romance, this drama is about beautiful relationships. A big thank you to everyone involved in making this drama.
The ml's betrayer is his step brother-the one who pretends to be simple. Someone pls spoil me. I'm on episode 12 and I'm afraid to continue as I don't like surprises.
I dare any male lead in any c-drama when a love interest tells him will you choose me or the FML in around ep30…
It's to cater to the fantasies of most female viewers. Apparently, mistreating the ml is romantic. I'm currently watching a drama where fl shot ml with an arrow that almost killed him. Ml retaliated with torture. Clearly both have issues, but comment section-hope she gets her own back. However, nobody hoped ml got his back, when she shot him. I hope for a drama world where what's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. If I don't want the ml mistreating the fl; I also don't want the fl to mistreat the ml.
Why did I hesitate to watch this, I ask my past self? Because this drama is amazing! The main couple is amazing! The fight scenes are amazing. The way ml looks at fl should come with a warning-not for the faint hearted, if ykwIm...wink.
Can you please tell me if they end up together at the end or not?
She dies. he lives out his natural life. But, there's a flash scen of him going to meet her in heaven for delulus like me, so bittersweet ending? It's still a very beautiful drama.
Agreed. It makes the acting unrealistic. You just fell from a cliff but you woke up fully plastered with makeup?…
If I were recovering from falling off a cliff, plastering my face with makeup will be the last thing on my mind. The makeup artist should've taken a more realistic approach, is what I'm saying in short.
Very wooden acting on fl's part, as usual. I hoped she'll be different here, but if hopes could be horses eh? Ml carried the drama, at least for the 3 episodes I powered through. He remains one of my favs; if only he got a better fl!
What a manipulative psychopath! You killed his mother; framed an innocent person for your crimes and had her deposed; had hundreds of people killed in the process; attempted to kill an orphan several times, all just to become Queen. Yet when you're caught, you blame the king as the reason, because he no longer loves you? This woman is bonkers! Episode 39.
She looks unrecognisable to me, as I just finished a rewatch of Dating in the Kitchen, before watching this show's…
Yes, I saw that with some hollywood stars and couldn't understand why, but their bodies their choices. As for my girl, hopefully, it's her personal decision and not industry pressure.
