I think in some ways this story was similar to cheer up...............both ml and sml kisses fl .........there…
Oh my, you are right about everything. I had forgotten that disaster, Cheer Up, which did nothing of the kind. I, too, would like to see a FL just once try to save a relationship instead of doing everything possible to bring about its demise.
I have watched with tons of fast forwarding and plan to finish. This doesn’t mean I’m enjoying it but proves how stubborn I am. The main cast is attractive, and I love the ML; I was unfamiliar with him until now. Would love to see him and other cast members in another role. The plot emotionally tortures the ML in the name of compassion and science but is unethical to the extreme. I wish I hadn’t started it, but now I need to see how it resolves. 😥
Has anyone read the famous American short story (later expanded to a novel, then a film) “Flowers for Algernon”? It’s the story of a lab mouse (Algernon) who was given an operation to expand its intelligence. Later, a cognitively disabled man is bestowed the same operation and becomes extremely smart; he falls in love with a female doctor, then, just as the mouse had, begins to lose all the intellectual gains he had temporarily enjoyed. I feel the writer(s) of this drama perhaps read Algernon’s story along the way and produced this version. All that to say, Algernon’s story was a very sad one; it will be interesting to see how Bad Memory Eraser ends. BTW, I’m not implying plagiarism; writers are influenced by everything they have ever read, most of it going straight into the subconscious. And no one can write a totally original story anyway; everything has already been told. Unless you’ve found one; please share! 😊
This episode was torture for me. Ju Yeon's acting is so fucking bad. There's no chemistry between ML and FL. They…
I’m sure the FL is a fine person and a decent actress, but I detest this character she plays a little more every week. She reminds me of the type person who will say one thing, mean another, then change her mind ten times in the next hour. And all will benefit her, not you, although she says it’s for you. I think I knew her in high school. I have trauma all these years later, haha.
The song sung by Jae Joong is just incredible. The drama has really good OST we can't take that away from it.https://youtu.be/lby59VZNEPE?feature=shared
Thank you so much for sharing this heart melting song; I didn’t know he was a singer, too! Such talent.🌸💗🌸💗
Horrible experience to watch this, but some reason I can’t stop.
With you on that. This has to be the most unethical experiment ever. Pretty sure all of the scientists would not only be barred from further research but should be criminally prosecuted. If I could be on the jury, I would send FL to prison first. Is that mean?🫤
My land, what a brutal bunch of females; two days in and the ML is slapped twice and whipped like a dog with even grandmother (isn’t she supposed to be dying?) wanting to take a turn. I guess Scared Straight programs are unnecessary to quell drug abuse when you have family members like that. Of course, he bravely takes it in stride and seems to recover immediately with no residual soreness or stiffness, no doubt because he was innocent all along. I wouldn’t watch another minute if it wasn’t so sleazily entertaining and if I didn’t like this actor so much. Oh, well! 😁🥳
The closing song is sung by Ding Yuxi and Deng Ancy 💖.👏
I love it when they do this. I will literally never get over the two stars of Goodbye Princess performing together after that heartbreaker. Chinese actors are so talented!
They have managed to maintain Shen Du's aura even though he is softer and sweeter. He's still looks scary and…
I’m impressed as well! This is one of the few times I’ve seen a drama get better and better as it goes along. Part of it is the sweet, loving relationship the main couple has finally reached. Sometimes the sweet part is delayed until the last five minutes of the final episode, or so it seems. 😁 I love these two!
I just feel like I have to say this even though I’m pretty sure we all know it: If you have to crush the feelings and self-worth of a loved one by pretending to scorn them while “loving” someone else, consider for a blank-brained minute that the cure just might be worse than the disease. If someone treated me the way FL has acted toward ML in recent episodes, I would never in my life forgive them because my trust would be gone forever.
This drama just proves the same old tropes can still feel fresh.
The truck swerving to miss the Lee Sang Yi character did it for me! I wish more dramas would twist the tropes like this; how fun it would be. But I do wish every single series didn’t feel it necessary to pull out a medicine kit to doctor the sweetie’s tiny scratches. Are thye little helpless children? 🧐
After ages I'm excited and waiting for next episode. I'm watching both live next door and no love no gain i think…
I agree with you, Exo_love. This is my favorite current drama, and I watch a lot. A big surprise for me is how much I enjoy Lee Sang Yi’s role, which is sending the laughs for me (and irritation as well as compassion) big time.
I’m happy to see independent, decisive female roles appear but am beginning to think writers of Asian dramas…
I would find them cringe, too, but probably less so when younger. I guess I like the attentive male trope but not when it goes too far. When a ML takes multiple abuses and comes back for more, I start thinking he has a problem.
