You really be suspecting everyone lmao. Cannot judge though I am doing the same. So many plot twists already,…
I donāt know how weird he looked but I immediately distrusted himā¦but maybe thatās because Iām identifying so strongly with ML, who is always so likable no matter what role.
Like most everyone else, I was quite impressed with the acting in this drama, particularly CZY. I did skip whole episodes because the pacing was agonizing to me, and I have difficulty with war-based dramas as well.
Overall, I think it was a worthy effort that emphasized loyalty, friendship, sacrifice and courage. But the most predominant theme I took away is one Iām not sure was intended (but maybe it was)āthat making such a sacrifice can border on obsession and a type of selfish stubbornness. If the ML had just volunteered once, he could have done a great deed without affecting the lives of his loved ones. But by returning again and again, he ruined the FLās life as well as his own and cost the death of his dear friend. Everyone who knew him was affected in a painful way. What really is more important in life, serving strangers but by no means saving all of them over a long period of time, or fulfilling the needs and safety of family and friends? He was a hero, but the trajectory and promise of his original lifeline was shattered and destroyed. And how many in the war-torn country will even remember his name?
The White Olive Tree was quite a story without easy answers. I know I will remember it for a long time.
The first episode gave me chills, and I really, really donāt usually react like that. Itās actually a little scary, and the mystery is top notch. I hope the drama can keep up this level of intensity!
This is another case of: are watching the same series? Song Wei Long was riveting as the ML. Actually, I not even…
These cdramas always make me think, Is that what it was like in ancient daysākings could kill you for dropping a chopstick? And I guess it was like that, probably all over the world.
Iām confused like does she actually love The General ??? sheās giving me such mixed signals like over and…
Yes, they do all seem to be written this wayāthe ML will give his kingdom to be with an often cold, cruel (oh, but she has her āreasonsā) FL, and I am tired, TIRED of it. I have never once seen this played out in real life; if a guy is rejected, he will go on to the next person until he finds someone who appreciates himāas it should be. Pining away after someone who doesnāt apparently love you back is not romantic; itās unhealthy and most likely a mental illness. I am going to quit cdramasā¦one of these days, maybe, lol
His daughter seems to be fine with it? Even suggesting him to go on dates?
I have also been worried about that little girl. I adore everything about this drama except that. When my son was small, my priority was to get home to him on time, even if I took paperwork home to do after his bedtime. It would be nice to see a dad struggle with this reality as well.
I really loved this drama at the beginning, and I think the leads are charming and adorable. The villain was the best actor of them all, imo. But the last few episodes seemed to fall apart. Nothing made sense to me but then I did start fast forwarding, so that may be why. Still, I donāt know why they made off with his father and didnāt choose to stay in the nice family home or why the couple separated for three months. Otoh, why am I looking for logic in a mini drama? Enter at your own risk!
pls tell me my miao miao ren hao isn't SML again.š
But did you see him in Hilarious Family? He was lead there, although Iām still not sure if I liked it or not. I liked him, though; he was so funny and cute! Glad to see him again; I did not recognize him at first.
Lee Min Ho looks fabulous, like he erased 10 years! I was a little disappointed at the beginning of the first episode, because I couldnāt feel the rocket interior as real. But then it got better and better. Iām looking forward to what comes next!
