Hahaha I literally checked out CITYBOY_LOG, saw the payed content and thought "nahh pass". For now I'm not that desperate, desperate yes... but not THAT desperate. 🤣 Good to know that others are annoyed and pissed off too. Aand good I didn't miss out on much on that one🤣
I think it's often the case for the small budget channels, even if you pay you get little to nothing. The actors are often still way too stiff, which is fine, really. If I decide to watch one of those short BLs, its more to support and cheer for the actors anyway, but I won't let them make me go broke over a few bad kiss scenes 🤣🤣
dailymotion is always a great option, if one's really curious. But tbh until now, I've never been motivated enough to go to search for the uncut versions of those short yt dramas ((If it's Myeongcheol x Hyeonseo I'd definitely search days till I find every last scene, but for some rando with stiff acting ... no thanks🤣))

I read BL manga before and I'm not a 100% sure if its my first BL anime, but my first Korean one for sure and I've definitely never seen one that explicit and intense 👀 Wow just wow 🙈

Started ep1 and Mignon's voice directly reminded me of Hyeonseo's (or is it just the teasing way in which he speaks as Haejun?) am I already going crazy?? But really, I closed my eyes for a second and I could literally see Hyeonseo in front of me with that voice 🤣
And absolutely yees, Hyeonseo and Mignon have the same puppy vibes 🥰 And Mignon's sometimes slightly dumb smile reminds me of Hyeonseo too hahaha the lost puppy is really strong in those two🤣🤣
and though you're right, Hyeonseo isn't built like Mignon, when I went back to rewatch the BTS of the chocolate eating scene (again thanks to ur reminder btw 🙏), I was surprised how muscular and toned his arms actually are. We just dont get to see them a lot, but i think he might even have a better build than Myeongcheol, but we shouldnt see that bcs Jaehun is supposed to be dominant. So shh 🤫
But maybe that's also why Myeongcheol reminds you of the doctor. The doctor's so slender and has rather sharp features. I totally see the similarities and bet Myeongcheol could totally nail this role or any vampire role at that 🔥 😏 (pls with that same hairstly we both love! )
Actually, when I just had finished ep 2, I wrote down: "I already see ur vision of Myeongcheol and Hyeonseo doing the live action ommgg can we please start a petition somehow somewheree???" I was literally convinced that quickly 🤣 Maybe I'm just a little needy 🥹🤲 But if they do it, pls find a production and director team who does it right. Dont let that go to waste!!

And actually... I expected eeeverything but not him being a vampire. OMG the blood bag in his mouth made cackle 🤣🤣 A minute before, I even thought 'weird that they gave him red eyes' but I didn't gave it much thought. Good thing that I didnt read any synopsis and just went straight into it, I love vampire stuff and I loved the surprise!! 😍
The first blood kiss already made me blush 🙈... ahhh i need the live action right noww 😭 And why is the doctor so hot when he's angryy (again, Myeongcheol could pull that off I swear🥲)

I was nearly crying when he was dying and then he bit him and OMG I love how they animated his vampire transformation! That bathtub scene, it was so hot, i dont even dare to imagine a live action of that... or else I'd instantely overheat and die 🥵🔥

Right after his transformation, Mignon, the clingy, sulking puppy not wanting to leave the side of his "master" LOL And the ending scene after the credits where Mignon's just fully unrestrained and controlling of the doctor I can't hahaha i want that type of defying energy from Haejun tomorrow 🤣🤣

And now to the climax. I literally replayed the scene where they kiss and Mignon asks "will you let me in" 5 times before continuing to watch till the end. The tensssioon 🥵🔥 that's how you do ittt. I wished the directors of ToL would learn from them 🥲
But they really made Mignon suddenly 2 times as huge in the bed scene or was it just in general after he became a vampire. I just noticed he suddenly was a real giant 🤣🤣🤣

Also random side note, I liked the old dude a lot and he made me laugh. He reminded me a bit of the old dude in Spirited Away, the boss of the soot sprites, dont ask me why either, maybe bcs I thought he was evil and surpressing his worker too in the beginning 😅

Ahh wow I'm still so speechless (yes, I say that as I write this frking long review that's more of an essay for you 🤣). It's not just a great BL, it's such a great anime 👏👏 I havent watched anything that's that short, but so good in a loong while. Like how did they condense everything necessary, and so impactfully at that, into these 12 short eps? I really dont feel like sth was missing, though I wished it was longer for sure. But it didnt lack anything: The story was on point, the drawing and animation style was great (I loved how they used the red color throughout) and the voice actors did a great job, too!! Wahh everything's just perfect!! 😍 Thank you for recommending this masterpiece to me!! 🙇‍♀️

The other actor (the one who appears first) seems also familiar 🤔 But tbh I'm not the biggest fan of those channels that hide ALL the spicy stuff behind the pay wall. I've watched some of those short BLs before and I know they have to make money somehow, but still, if they don't even give us half a decent kiss without paying or even cut the kiss in the middle, it just takes away too much from the story or rather takes you out of the story and that's always just such a bummer 🥲

He reminds me a lot of Jin from Top Form. Have you watched that drama? I'm normally not really interested in the puppy kinda type and always drawn to the domineering, dark and broody characters, but idk how but both Smart (Jin's actor) and Hyeonseo somehow managed to win my heart 🥹💗

Right, right! I totally agree, Hyeonseo was definitely told to act this way. I didn't mean that as criticism directed at thim, I'm just so happy we get to see him kissing less tensely and going all in in the real eps as well (not only the edited out bits and pieces from the BTS you mentioned). That also makes it less awkward overall, bcs imagine how to act a kiss while being told to act like a wooden board (while you're character actually signed up for that in a contract and agreed to do that stuff, but whatever...)🤦‍♀️

I can't believe we have only 3 eps left. I keep praying for another drama of those two with a good plot and good production, so they can actually show what they've got 😭 The kisses are great and all, but we could have gotten so much more if they just started out like that from ep 1 or if there was at least a believable build-up to the point where we are now of both being allowed to act comfortable with each other😭
The only thing they really did right was the styling of Myeongcheol, I think the hairstyle he has here looks the best out of all dramas I've seen him in 😍

Wow the ML absolutely killed it with his acting! He reminds me a bit of Fan Zhi Xin from My Lethal Man, not exactly in the looks, but they have a similar intensity in their acting that keeps you hooked. The FL was really good too.
The story is dark, twisted and cruel, and though the revenge went a bit too smoothly and everything was a bit too dragged out for my liking, it was still very good for a short vertical drama.

I feel you... in retrospect, the way Jaehun strained his hand, trying with all his might not to put his creamy fingers on Haejun was actually hilarious, but then he still ended up putting the cream all over him and I was way too disgusted to actually laugh😶

Honestly, I get a little sad seeing all the hate for the actors bcs it's really not their acting that's the problem. Even if it might be lacking at times, their still rookies it's fine!! I've seen way worse (especially in BLs) where the story was totally fine, but I could barely watch 5 minutes at once bcs the acting gave me goosebumps. 😬
Especially when after Sweetheart Service, people should know they can act, and they even had enough chemistry for people shipping them though they weren't meant to be a pair there. Looking through their insta and seeing the BTS they both really seem to be very sweet and hard-working. It's not fair to drag them through the mud just bcs of the faults of the production crew🤦‍♀️

What can I say.. how can the BTS be soo sweet and natural 😍 Why does even the cheesiest dialogue feel normal in their BTS? 🤭 Today's highlight: the way Hyeonseo asked Myeongcheol "shouldn't you hold my hand or sth?", then him agreeing to his request and asking to interlace fingers. Did you see how they smiled at each?? I'm meeltingg🫠

Tbh I think half of ep7 is actually just Myeongcheol and Hyeonseo being themselves (but that makes the ep weirder bcs it doesn't fit their characters but whatever, the drama is lost anyway..💀 ). The whole coffee scene is just their real dynamic 🥰 (also after finding out from the BTS that the coffee tasted bad and both knew, the dialogue suddenly makes sense, which just didn't flow in the drama at all. And that's not even mentioning, that they didn't dub every sentence they actually said 😂)
