You are right, its a masterpiece. Iβm still not over it either! That line about defying the wind and rain together…
Count me in on prefering those "100 scenes of them just existing in the same space" π I wished we'd get another drama with another 100 similar scenes of them, but till then let me keep rewatching this π₯Ή

Yees, I wrote that line down too, it's my close 2nd favorite! I also saved what Zhao said about unhappy marriages/couples and also what Mu said about Zhao being the only one being able to make her heart race. SO MANY good lines! π₯°π₯Ή
You're so right about the writing! Usually, I always highlight great chemistry/acting, moving OSTs and interesting (no annoying/ one-dimensional) side characters, and although all those things are also absolutely phenomenal here, the thing I'd mention first when someone asked is the writing! I haven't seen a drama that had such beautiful writing and great pacing in a long time. It felt slow, but not in a bad draggy way and rather in a thoughtful, good way. Like it was purposefully slowed down allow love to blossom gradually. π₯Ήπ They used the time so wisely to show how love exists in the mundane and how it's not just the grand gestures, but also the little things that make one fall in love. In many new dramas the lovestory feels so rushed, only to squeeze in more drama and more plot lines (some of which end up unfinished π«€), and to ultimately end in a rushed happy end with 10 minutes of real happiness. π€¦πΌββοΈ But here there was no rushed confession, no hastily started relationship, no sudden ureasonable break and no rushed getting back together without clearing previous misunderstandings. Instead every gaze, every gentle touch, every kiss was intentional and filled with meaning and romance was finally given enough room to breathe! ππ€ Like you said a healing journey indeed! πββοΈπββοΈ Sorry for the leengthy reply π«£ this suddenly turned into an essay π I feel like I probably could talk about this drama for hours while at the same time my English is too limited to find the right words to express how I really feel about it. I shut up now and go rewatch this ππ
Just finished this masterpiece yesterday and if I wanted to list everthing I LOVED I wouldn't even know where to start. If you haven't watched it yet, you better go (no RUN) and start watching right now!! I know I truly fell in love with a show that touched sth very deep in me when I start to jot down my favorite lines, so I'll just leave you with my favorite quote: "...true love isn't self-righteous sacrifice, but two hearts defying wind and rain together, resisting a broken life. I understand now. True courage isn't charging into battle alone. It's allowing oneself to become a wound thats tenderly guarded." β€οΈ
This drama is the choppiest crap I've seen in a while. It definitely could set a new record for how many times sb. can be kidnapped or drugged in one series. Those sudden tied-up scenes appearing after another cut kiss scene like a jump-scare were actually kinda hilarious π€£ The story kept going around in circles, while 70% of the diaglogue sounds like a robot is reciting the newspaper. Close to the end, they throw the "forbidden love between brothers" troupe at you just becauseπ€·ββοΈ If a drama is that bad, there's no shame in admitting that I just finished because Kim Han Yeong is a pleasure to look at. But overall this was so bad I laughed a lot, have to give them thatπ€£
All this excitement for nothing... π please someone inform me when the first ep is actually already out bcs I'm gonna try forget about this for now bcs the wait is driving me craazyπ
One of these dramas that are like watching a car crash, you don't want to look but you can't help but stareπ It's so bad that it's addicting somehow and almost entertaining, but only almost cause every time something dramatic happens, it's presented in such an underwhelming, nonchalant way, like "oops kidnapped someoneπ€ͺ", "oops drugged someone *again*π€ͺ", "opps jumped from a balconyπ€ͺ" which gets kinda annoying. Is it supposed to be really dramatic or a funny makjang? Either is fine, but pls choose oneπ Also, that open ending makes it seems like there's gonna be season 2 and I don't even want to imagine that. The only good thing this drama has goig the 4 MLs are all handsome and the bodyguard was really funny, but I've seen enough of that π
At least that's what I saw in a post on YT and here in the comments above yours, but MDL removed the countdown to the release date that went up yesterday, so now I'm a bit confusedπ« π
maybe re/watch maids revenge/forever love this time β the chemistry is same, leave you high and dry. I bet :)
Yes, yes 12th of January! They even added the countdown timer here now! AHHH so excited!! Fingers crossed for more of Dai's smiles, but you're right, you can never go wrong with DaixChen π€π₯
HAHAHAHA SAAME πππππ»ππ» I hope it's true, though I have no way to check bcs I dont speak Chinese, but I saw it on YT and here in the comments above yours π€£ anyway, let me celebrate first π₯³

Hahaha I get where you're coming fromπ€ DGZ as bodyguard is definitely his best role in terms of the hotness factor π₯π« but I wished he had more soft momemts and smiled some more in that drama. Bcs for me Dai's smile>>>>>> π Btw did you hear? We finally got a release date for their 4th drama together π₯Ήπ₯³

Aw thanks for the reminder π₯Ή I've rewatched those (or rather my favorite scenes bcs there are just too many annoying characters or villains π« ) countless times, too. But somehow I always return to Rainkissed fate. I guess I like Dai's character there just a tiny bit more. His shyness in the beginning is to die for! π€π
I dont think so. At least, I didnt see anyone mention it. But I'd appreciate it if someone did bcs I dont even…
Oh thx for the link! I just filled out everything till I came to the part about "Release Information" where you can choose to "add another season". Now i'm confused whether you should even create a new page for another season or add it to the TOL1 page somehow? I didnt want to submit sth wrong so I cancelled it for now π
we are having stockholm syndrome with this masterpiece for sure
Right, it's like a gift! π₯Ήπ€²π» But tbh I hope they release it soon or the Christmas vibe will be kinda strange if it's almost released in February π«
