Call me crazy but I'm going through some serious withdrawal since this series ended😅 It feels like 2 decades passed, bcs nothing excites me as much as waiting for the next episode of this trashy show and the hilarious comments did 😭 I guess I'll have to rewatch it as I wait for the 2nd season. Seeing the trailers, the actor's chemistry is still fire and it's gonna be another batshit crazy ride... Caan't wait!! 🤣

The only good thing is their somewhat good chemistry. It felt rushed and draggy at the same time. And what's with that ending, is this getting a 2nd season?

The first half was pretty slow for this genre, but after ep. 7 it picked up speed and it became really thrilling. There are some scenes that just don't make any sense (but I guess ML and FL have to survive so who cares) and some of the residents are really frustrating to watch. If you see how naive and guillable they act (even after fighting with the other residents/infected for days!) you'll believe they only have one braincell left.
The last ep was just as hilarious as it was emotional. Everyone was going batshit crazy which made it almost hard to get into the feels for the main couple. I wish we got more closure regarding what happened to the other residents besides the main couple.
Overall, a really solid drama. I was never bored, though I could imagine that some wouldn't expect a infectious disease themed show to be this slow, but I actually liked that, bcs it gave the viewer time to breath, if that's not the case, such movies are often too stressful for me.

I wish I was joking 😭 but it seems like the producers really meant it when they said "our story's just begun" in the last ep. Praying for more plot and less waterboarding 🙏🏻😭

The only thing I'm really looking forward to right now... 😔 Guess I'll have to go rewatch Rainkissed Fate for the n-th time while waiting 🥲

I really enjoyed it, but I think this could be even a lot better if the plot was a more fleshed-out and it was just longer to have time to show some real character development. Jeonghan suddenly made a 180 degree shift and went from possessive, overbearing son of the CEO to clingy puppy...I mean that might possibly happen if you fall in love, but I just couldn't really get behind the suddenness of it all. There was literally no slow build up in his character development.
Also the whole cousin thing seemed so lackluster. Why was he presented as such a big villain in the first place, if you could just get rid of him so easily?

Haha that's probably what most will say and the most sane response 😅 Tbh I hoped for another series with these two actors, but I guess I'll take what I can get 😂

I'm not sure if I'm excited or frightened. But this trash of a drama made me laugh more than any actual comedy, I'll give them that! 😂
And I for one, love the their off-screen chemistry and believe they can act well if given a better script and directions! So, please don't come for the actors, they're also just trying their best to save this mess! 🥲
So, though I have no hopes for the TOL2, I'll stick around for the actors. Pls let the production team all step on a lego and have an epiphany how proper directing and editing works🙏🥹

Agreed. The music is one of the worst things. If you mute this drama, suddenly everything becomes 1000% better, even the kiss scenes which were also not my cup of tea. Like I do like fierce kissing, but not ALL the time and not if the other partner is just acting like a wall.🤦‍♀️ But I actually think both of them can kiss (in other series they did really well!), I guess the director here failed them and forced them into kissing in such an unnatural way that it just comes off as strange.🤦‍♀️

"It had nice plants" which sadly didn't appear in ep 10. They could have shown us some nice plants at the seaside at least 🥲

But I decided to finish the subs anyway, especially bcs at the few parts where I checked the auto-translation was really off. So maybe you can enjoy it with subs and if sth seems really wrong, you can check my translation. Though I didn't catch everything either🫠
That also goes for the part where Myeongcheol said how his first impression of Hyeonseo was. The auto-subs didn't help either unfortunately.. ah I wanna know😭😭

About the quality, it's hard to say. They're so short that there's not that much to see and often they still put annoying music over them 😅 But less of their chaotic editing definitely makes the kiss scenes (no, actually all scenes) better and I really enjoyed the BTS more than the drama bcs of the actors' off-screen chemistry! They're actually really sweet together 😊

I just wanted to write a comment that people can look forward to the second season as they announced it in their live 🤣 and maybe tell them to check it out, bcs I want more people to see their REAL chemistry!🥹 They're so sweet and I just wished people would know that they work hard and that this bad production isn't they're fault. But in order to fall for them they have to go and watch them off-screen, so idk... I didn't mention it earlier here, bcs I was scared people might say nasty things during the live. Riiight ep 10 was so HSxMC coded 😍 I laughed so much bcs of them trying to squeeze in some plotpoints in the last ep with the cancelled wedding and the sleeping pills. So f'ing random 🤣 but at the same time, I was giggingly because the rest of the 10 minutes it was just Hyeonseo and Myeongcheol smiling and giggling (just like mee) while kissing 🤭🫠
Especially the part of HS putting that cold drink can against MC's neck when he was worrying how to talk about his past, is so like them too? Bcs today in the interview, they also said sth similar, like HS always cheers him up 🥰

Ah I really need to get back to translating now, let me just rewatch the ep once more with good bgm and then continue!🤗
Btw when I play "Infatuated" by Rangga Jones and he sings "Sweet like caramel, whenever I taste it, baby can't you tell, that you are the reason I stay up all night long" while our babies are kissing, I seriously wonder if they know what they've done to us 🔥🫠😂

I have to defend Hyeonseo a bit here. If you watch the BTS, you'll see that Hyeonseo can kiss back if he was allowed to. He even did so a few times, which looked faar more natural and way better btw, but they always cut out the good parts and edited the kissings scenes in a way that his kissing skills look worse than they actually are🥲 I guess they just wanted him to be as passive as possible and look indecisive, which made him look disgusted and even worse than a dead fish in some scenes (have to agree with you on that part😂). I also think Myeongcheol actually kisses better in other series, but here the director must have told him that being dominant means to just eat up your partner as fiercly as possible ALL the time which just isn't cute in the long run🥲

Ep 10
- Holyy diabetes, this ep was way too sweet. But on the bright side, we didn't have to suffer through another waterboarding session. I guess we're lucky today 🙂
- But for GOD'S SAKE, CAN SOMEBODY PLS TURN OFF THAT AWFUL MUSIC?? I want to know from which copyright free music website they got these random, generic tracks tracks that manage to ruin any mood? It's almost award-worthy 👏
- Love how Haejun brings a "5 month relationship" contract and a bit later Jaehun goes off about how he's in for life. Describes their dynamic perfectly, are they ever on the same page? Every ep. we went two steps forwards and three back, but nobody knows how, when or why. And suddenly we should believe it's all sunshine and rainbows? Yeah sure... 😀😀
- Painkillers mentioned to add to the sad backstory✅ Is that the excuse for Jaehun's waterboarding habits? Ok... They give us random details of the characters' past, but never want us to know how they connect to their current state or recent events. It's not a drama, it's a freaking puzzle with half of its pieces missing 😵‍💫
- Whenever there are documents, emails or text messages, you don't even have to worry they'll look too real. They're so half-assed they rather leave you wondering if they spend more than 5 minutes to create them. This ep. Jaehun staring at an email that literally just says "Hello, I decided to call of the wedding. Thanks, Han Jaehun." is peak comedy. What is he wondering about? Whether he should change that great phrasing? Or maybe - God forbid! - he might want to add a reason? But who needs a reason to call of a (chaebol!) wedding, right?👍
- More bread talk. There's only bread and milk in the fridge? No wonder, Jaehun likes the way Haejun eats bread. Apparently it's the only thing he can eat if he doesn't want to starve. Do they seriously have nothing else to talk about?🤦‍♀️

And just like that this series ends, no unwarrented never-heard-before grunting session, no groundbreaking belt caressing action, no grand waterboarding finale,... just the tide of garbage pushing us to reach shallow waters and as we go on shore, the ship's finally sunk. At least, we all survived I guess 🥲

Its so good to see them smile more, especially our puppy Hyeonseo! I love his eyesmile so much 😍 And they're so comfortable with each other, after Myeongcheol came Hyeonseo relaxed so quickly. awww my heart!!🫠 Them playing and teasing each other in the background while the staff is talking is so funny! They're so cute 🤣🤣🤣

Also, OMG Hyeonseo is INFP 😭 so he has my MBTI?!!😭 and on a side note, i checked his profile, we have birthday on the same day ❤️(not the same year, he's still a baby to me but yeah haha 🤣
) (and one of my best friends has the same birthday like myeongcheol so I can remember both their birthdays well. So many coincidences😂 )

Also, at the end, them doing the heart poses was so much fun too 😂 They totally forgot they're not just doing that game for themselves, but should stop to let the viewers take a screenshot. They just did the pose and then started immediately started bickering and nagging each other when they didnt get it right 🤣🤣🤣 These two cutiies . My heart's so full.
