Yes that's true idk abt others but i have NEVER seen a jcw movie in the big screen so if it comes in a theatre nearby i am definitely watching 🤣

In korea it's obviously a flop i am not denying that. I don't about the movie culture in korea but in most countries having a lot of following means EVERYTHING. Ardent fans will support you even if your movie is not good.

Lol why were people shocked. Forget korea even famous Hollywood actresses will get very few lead roles when they are 50+ in age.

I don't think it will be on OTT so soon. I saw some posts few days back saying that it was pre sold to 170 countries. I think the release date is around 29th aug. Also i am pretty sure its international collections will be more than domestic. Even if we assume on avg around 10k people watch it per country then it comes 1.7 million. Also countries like phillipines and Indonesia have huge jcw following

I don't think breakeven will be a big issue, they will get revenue from foreign countries and most probably will be sold to ott platforms also. And jcw has huge following in other asian countries but yeah i am still surprised . I guess it is really not a commercial film and wonderland even got very bad reviews maybe koreans liked it , idk. The director should be banned if he can't give a hit with top class actors like jdy,jcw and ljy

I don't want to sound like a hater .. I haven't seen the movie yet but in the press conferences it was brought up many times that the director took 4 or 5 yrs to complete the story and now everyone is saying the acting is great but story is not that good 🤣 I don't understand that. Maybe writing a good story and direction is that much difficult. I always feel kind of bad when talented people like jcw and jdy have to shine despite the story/writing and not because of it

I guess the first set of reviews are out...i read some. Almost everyone is praising the actors' performances and overall aesthetics- background music etc. The story is so-so acc to some, but generally positive reviews

After watching the new trailer i am pretty sure jcw will act like a hook of the story, provide background and initiate the drama, after that the rest of the cast has to carry it forward. I think they chose jong seo because of the action scenes primarily

Wow this comment section is so heated🤒. For me I'll definitely start watching it, jcw is in a historical drama after so many years. But if story becomes tedious, I'll drop it later. Also people who watch a drama because of the story and not the actors are a very small proportion. If you like both the story and actors then that's very lucky nowadays

Queen woo and revolver are both highly anticipated, really hope the writing and direction doesn't disappoint. The mdl page of the director of revolver is very dissapointing (literally all his work is 6 stars💀)

Yeah i am a jcw fan and so are you but i think he'll definitely be dead in 1 or 2 episodes 💀. The teaser directly says "king is dead" maybe mistranslation idk. Well as many have pointed out perhaps he'll come in flashbacks
