JCW and his agency should try to land big dramas with netflix...even though his disney dramas are great they'll never get too popular simply because kdrama viewership is tremendously low there. In most countries people subscribe to disney+ for sports and hbo/Marvel content.

It's not necessarily the only reason. Many a times schedules clash and he's so busy , perhaps he completed his scenes first.

Ngl the writing was really weak for the first half. The minute the main leads JCW and SHS started showing their real emotions around ep 13 , their chemistry and the overall vibe felt soo good after that. When you have casted actors of their calibre, the writing should match their level

I watched till ep 5 then i stopped for some time (didn't have time) and then binge watched it recently. I feel it wasn't a bad drama by any stretch just nothing extraordinary. There were the usual themes of parental pressure,love triangle etc. but those were kept to pander to the local target audience and toned down anyways. Overall it was emotional, funny and felt good for a light watch.Also i saw many comments saying the ml is a simp but I really didn't get that feeling at any point. It was clear that both Ml and fl loved each other and circumstances separated them, the ml was a bit more straightforward in showing his feelings. But I have to say - sang do's character is complete trash and they wrote it just to make the love triangle happen

They promoted worst of evil well i think. The main cast went to different places around the world like japan etc. It's just that disney is not very popular in the kdrama world

Just my opinion, Both JCW and SHS are incredible actors but they would be better in a senior-junior role or as friends in a drama. Would really like to see actresses like bibi, nana, SHK or bae suzy with JCW atleast once

given the ratings we can agree that the show has captured the attention of it's target audience, which i am guessing is local women above 30 years of age

How he "acts"depends primarily on the writing and direction of his character. If you want to see "manly" JCW watch literally any of his other shows🤣. Especially healer, worst of evil,the k2, if you wish upon me etc.

Off-topic: can anyone tell me how nominations in mbc or sbs awards take place? Is it only for shows aired in those specific networks? If yes then what about the online or jtbc kdramas,will they get any awards?

So we are going to see JCW and Bibi together again so soon. Can't wait. There chemistry in worst of evil was amazing and the kiss was just cherry on top in the limited screen time they had. This won't be romance but it will be fun to see them in a different setting

Tbh i feel JCW took this role because he wanted to relax a bit after worst of evil and other upcoming demanding projects and earn some good money too🤣. But of course he always gives his best regardless of direction and writing

The drama is good but at least for me its not suited for weekly viewing. I'll binge watch it after 3 or 4 more weeks

It might be only me ..but Netflix isn't even showing this drama in my homepage. I literally had to search for it. And also they are not doing any promotion as many have pointed out
