I can totally understand why they would be upset about that and I haven't even read the novel. Good thing the novel is not that long and I've read the epilogue and that makes me feel better already lol

Oh I might just have to do that if I want my version of 'happy ending' lol I was hoping it would be like Starry love where the FL loves all different shards of the ML and when they all merged together in the end. I wonder why they changed that from the novel? Since the DL has all the memories of XXC, they could've made it that way.

I feel the same way, like they are 5 different characters instead of just MXL/Pearl and XXC/ZM/DL ZM. I wish I get to feel like they are one entity and MXL loves all versions of the ML, instead of only XXC. If you love someone, you love all of them and not just one part.

The ML being extremely red flag will not pass censorship in drama adaptation. They always whitewash them. I think I've only seen extremely red flag MLs in mini-dramas.

mini short dramas doesn't have same censorship as full length dramas and movies in China. I don't think they need to pass censorship and less restrictive since they are only shown on the web.

Yes unless her dramas start airing, no one is going to give her any new roles. That would be a very risky investment.

This was one of the better mini-dramas I've watched. The main leads are really likable and logical. There is no annoying SFL or SML who are in love with the leads and plots to break them up. That's rare in these dramas.

I believe this was adapted from a book but I heard it was very long. I really want to know if this was the case with the book, that the misunderstanding was only cleared up towards the end.

I knew when I saw it was only 32 eps and clicked on the related tab so I didn't start until I find out if it has a cliffhanger ending. I was told the reason it didn't have a part 1 nd 2 is because they might be able to air it earlier since it was a different name (loophole) so hopefully that is true.

There are many versions of this storyline on these vertical dramas on youtube. If this frustrates you, I don't think you should check them out. The ones I've seen, the misunderstanding lasted until the last ep or the last minute.

I find your reaction very extreme. I just watched up to ep 35 and it was nothing like you said. Maybe you have very high expectations and any interaction between FL and SML you see it as a betrayal. Yes I would say it's a bit slow and can do with less episodes but all I've every seen is Pearl's love for ZM. I've never ever felt any love at all from Pearl to Fate. I felt that she pities him but never love. All I can see is her unconditional love for ZM. Different perspective I get it but I think your reaction is preventing others from trying to watch it. I was hesitant to watch it at first due to your comments. It's a very good drama. It would be a pity for some to drop it due to your comments.
