You have to know when adapting a novel, they can change many things or add events so what was shown in Hidden Love (the drama) might not be exactly what happened in the novel. For example, in novel for Hidden love, the age gap between the mains were 7 years but in drama, it was only 5. So hence, timeline will be different for both dramas.

I think that's also her character sadly due to her past. She's the type who will silently bare any discomfort and just let it go instead of being rude. I think that's why so many men target her due to this. They know she's not likely to say anything if they do something inappropriate but didn't really cross a line.

Ep 12 I don't get why WYF would let MCY into her house to check it out? She could've just turned him down that she's looking for a female roommate. Seriously he's so creepy.

Yeah the way he kept staring at her and tailing her...not cute at all but super creepy.

Netflix finally updated and I can finally start on ep 11. Now I see why everyone were saying MCY was so annoying. Only 10 mins in and I find him more than annoying...with his baby face and that smirk ugh.

Yes I'm not sure what it is but i was expecting him to be way better in acting. He was good in Lessons in Love and I watched a couple of BL movies with him and he was actually good.

If you're in the mood for something light and easy with not much angst, then watch this. You'll not be disappointed. The ML and FL are not annoying but smart and scheming. There is not much suspense or surprise, so don't expect a masterpiece. All the support roles such as the princes, brother and friends are all good people and no one turn into a villain. No unnecessary death either so you can watch in peace. I enjoyed this very much 8.5/10 but i round it off to a 9 since I think the rating in really low. Definitely should be above 8.

It's refreshing to see both SML and SFL not turning into clingy psychos after getting rejected but actually accepted it with no ill feeling and resentment.

I skimmed ep 11- 17 and I was able to follow the story. You should be fine.

Right, no one expects Netflix to give free subscriptions but why complain about Youku? You can actually watch alot of free dramas in Youku without subscription which is way more than expected.

Can you really see fireworks in daytime? I've never seen anyone light fireworks during daylight so have no idea if you can actually see anything.

The FL might seem kind of annoying and overdramatic in the beginning but give her a chance. She's one of the best FL character I have seen - smart, resourceful, bold, scheming and beautiful. Jelly Lin is quite beautiful here, maybe it's the makeup and styling. I have not noticed her before.

Chang Yi was just too funny when he covered his eyes haha did he think if he can't see her, she won't be able to see him?? too funny

When our FL acts like the annoying SFL, I find it funny and cute, like she's mocking them. I guess everyone see it differently. But it gets better. I'm on ep 11 and really enjoying it so far. I like the FL is not the typical cutesy, bubbly FL who is a bleeding heart. She has her own interest and put herself and her family first. She's smart and knows when to give in and she's not just waiting for the ML to save her every time. Even though she's powerless, she will use people, including the ML, to her advantage but not in a cruel way. More like mutual benefit.
