YZX is such a good actor. He makes me be on his side even though he was being the asshole and cruel to the FL. His expression are everything. He can play the most toxic ML and I still end up feeling sympathetic to him, What a great actor!

But this was the point of this drama. If it's not something that interest you, then watch something else. From what I've seen on the comments, many people are interesting in the storyline.

Didn't the FL get legally married in the 1st ep when she signed the certificate and have the ceremony. How will she be able to get married again without a divorce? I know it's in another state but won't she be in trouble if someone finds out?

First time I've seen this FL. Her makeup is very light here and she looks washed out. Usually republican drama has brighter makeup and red lip,

wow you weren't kidding. This was hard to watch. I haven't finished yet but I think I'm only finishing this to see how it ends. I wish the FL will grow some backbone though.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not condoning what the ML did. He's obviously a RED flag. It's funny he wants a consensual relationship but he really gave her no choice. I haven't finished this but not sure how she can fall in love with a man who humiliated her like that.

It's just so cheesy her holding up a sign to sell herself so blatantly. Isn't prostitutions illegal in China? So she sold herself to the ML the first time, why is she so unwilling to do it again the next time but rather let her sister die? Not sure her logic and what has changed, she has developed scruples now?

I think I'm the only one who can't see it. Maybe when she did the fake smile, I can see some resemblance on the mouth. Their eyes are so different though.

I have to laugh at the scene when XRR finally realized that she was MQG. It's right in front of her face and she still has a hard time accepting it and still thinks it's not possible lol There were 2 fruits, if one of them is not MQG, then who is the other one? Her deduction skills is really something else.

This is one of the best version for this storyline. The ML is Sooo Hot!!

No I don't think that is it. The Lu's has no such customs. She wants to find a matrilocal husband (husband who married into the wife's family) so her inheritance can stay with her. The 3rd son (ML)'s parents are dead so she targeted him thinking he would be ideal for matrilocal husband.

ah I see. So the aunt has no children and moved back to her own family after her husband died. So technically, the FL actually has no relation to the Lu's since the only link was broken.

She should be on the special guest role. I think she made a good choice here to be part of the cast and she's doing a great job.
