I have never liked the mother from the beginning. She is a coward and has never tried to understand her daughter…
Yeah I get where you're coming from. I hate that too. But I didn't think it was that bad in this case since they weren't exactly together. But I'm glad she trusted him and followed her intuition that he's into her and went looking for him. They had an understanding when they were looking at each other that she will wait for him to return.

I agree with you. I think YJL made it clear when he defines the difference between an ally and someone he loves - if she's an ally, he will fight to death to protect her, but if she's the one he loves, he wants to live and stay by her side in this imperfect world. He knows that his task is dangerous and he might likely not live hence his decision to distant himself. I thought his words were so romantic and swoon worthy lol
I would like to know too. When they went back in time, Song Mo version as a kid seem a few years younger than…
I didn't see the girl's age listed but they do look like 12 yrs and 10 yrs. But in drama she's supposed to be around 7-8? since 16 years have passed but oh well I guess it's not a big deal.

To be fair, girls mature faster than boys during preteen. The height difference is crazy among 8-12 years old kids. I know a 9 years old who is taller than my 12 years old son and he's on the average size.
I do agree with you though - the way they handled her ptsd and childhood trauma with such speed didn't sit well…
I get what you're saying and not trying to diminish ptsd but it's a drama and personally I don't want to sit through a few episodes of her overcoming her trauma. The plot needs to move on...
Seriously why do they keep having this young actress act with so much older male cast and doing romance parts.…
Agree especially when the ML is 28. I don't mind age gap if she's 27 and he's 38 but to cast a 17 yrs old, that's just weird even if there is no kissing.
No the angst is not bad. Misunderstandings were resolved fairly quickly. The ML was going the noble idiocy route on ep 20 but it was sort of resolved within the same episode.
Still confused on why Jing Chao’s name on here doesn’t match his name in the drama. I understand it could…
I thought he was the baddie in this drama. He's pretending to be Mr. Bai but he's actually the prince/king of some county and his goal to Yizhou was to steal the brocade formulas.
There are some petty watchers here. I saw the rating for Blossom went down and of course this will have to go…
Yes Blossom is good and has alot of fans so it's going back up. This one I also find is as good but more tame and no hype but nothing bad happened in the last few episodes to get the rating down like this except for pettiness.
The synopsis is from the novel and drama adaptations sometimes don't follow the novel so anything can happen. It's totally up to you if you want to wait until it has finished airing but the angst is not bad and there are quite a bit of light moments. I would watch it just for the ML though. He's one of the best character I've watched in some time.
