Do I need to watch season 1 for this sequel to make sense?

Is this worth watching? I saw the sequel and was wondering if I need to watch this first?

Isn't one of the couples, antagonists? I highly doubt they will give them a HE unless they changed sides. Sometimes those interviews are lies. I've been fooled by them many times lol

Yeah no need to change your pff until you're ready to let go :-) I was planning to watch TSOPG every other day so I get 3 episodes and the rest of the time on LGIEF but I find myself browsing youtube for short dramas instead lol

I also started LGIEF last week and I'm on ep7. Somehow I'm not feeling it. I saw all those positive comments and how amazing it is...and I just didn't have that urge to catch up on it. Maybe it's my issue. I had the same problem with FOF.

Couldn't have agreed more. I find the FL character very inconsistent. She found everyone in the convoy dead included her brother and she really think YZJ would've been part of it! That's he was trying to kill her! Makes no sense. And she has no anger or desire for revenge and find out what happened. Instead, she will just seek independence and wealth to live well on her own.

I'm on Ep 20. Did it say how much time has passed? YZJ was able to acquired all Cui's 18 stores and last episode he was nearly on death bed and wanted by the BD bandits. I feel a bit lost.

ikr. ZJR with all his resources couldn't find her. Maybe he should've just ventured into the desert on his own feet with no water bottle and he will most likely bump into her.

Th most illogical part is Yun Xiu appearing in the desert all by herself looking for DuanWu and she actually found her...well DW found her being kidnapped and saved her. Then Yun Xiu acting all happy and only talking about herself when she needs to read the room. That was just so very strange.

I don't think the ML lost his mind and common sense. He promised her she would never get hurt again after rescuing her from the kidnapping and then 5 mins later, everyone from the convoy died included her beloved brother so I think it's very human behaviour to want to leave them to protect them. Partly from guilt and not being able to face them anymore since he wasn't able to protect them.

They are so cute together. But I have to say, I hate this trend of calling them 'my parents'. I find it so weird and cringy lol

BTS kiss was definitely better. They actually showed lips movement but maybe they wanted to show a bit of awkwardness of a first kiss and less experience with the wide eyes lol
