I paused on this because I find the FL really annoying and making the ML feel so insecure and jealous when he was so good to her. But after watching ep 22, I think I might be too harsh on the FL. When she states " I don't know if you love me too much or just don't know how to love". I think it's both for Chen Yi. He never sees it from MJ's point of view, and consider MJ's feeling and how it feels when he's hurt or in trouble. I have no doubt he loves her but he really doesn't know how to love.

I really hate his passive attitude and his petty jealousy. He has no reason at all to be jealous. She came back for him and he knows it. They have this bond that no one can break. All his friends see this. For him to waste his time on this petty jealousy on Cen Ye is such a waste of time and energy.

Like I don't agree that it's illogical that Wuyi will trust Li Mao. They have known each other since they were kids when Wuyi and Li Mao have over a decade of friendship and trust. He calls him his best friend. Li Mao might have changed now but Wuyi is intelligent enough to figure that out after his sister killed the FL's mother.

Yes, you won't find kissing or explicit scenes if that is what you're looking for. It's more like the old school historical romance drama which I find refreshing. One of the best ML role for Neo Hou.

Yes I get what you mean but the whole drama has been fast paced. There is no time for a few more emotional scenes since there are only 28 episodes lol

I love her confession scene and her "I'll always choose you". I thought it was done beautifully but each to their own.

I really don't get the big deal about the AI Intro and I don't think it's because production wanted to save money. Most of the dramas, they would just use clips of various scenes throughout the drama with an OST/music as intro. Won't that be cheaper option?

I didn't feel like it was rush at all. She got over Li Mao a long time ago. When she had that closure with him when he was going to marry the Cui daughter. There was a time skip and I have never seen her long for him. It was more like a childhood crush to me.

I think it was good timing. Wuyi confessed to her some time ago and I'm glad she didn't answer immediately. She took her time to figure out her feeling and when he took that beating because of her, she wants to let him know she feels the same way and they are in this together. She wants him to take care of himself first and not disregard his own life because she wants to be with him until the very end.

Exactly. I don't even watch the intro and ending credit most of the time unless the OST was really good. Seeing the big deal on the comment, I went and checked it out. It was a bit cheesy but there wasn't even OST to go with it. Not a deal breaker for sure.
