Maybe it's on purpose. In most dramas, they will create opportunities for the FL to trip and fall on the ML with some background music to create chemistry, but here it's the opposite. They removed the horse riding together and also the princess carry when she was drunk.

Yes, I didn't like the fight scenes in this drama. Not sure if it is the camera or poorly choreographed but it feels kind of cheap. Even the first battle scene on ep 1, I was not impressed.

The Du tried to wipe out his whole clan, so no I don't see it as being cruel. Maybe I'm just vengeful. Also he's not aware, but the guy tried to ruin his sister's reputation by sleeping with her.
