True, in some of the roles I have watched with him, they were not complicated ones. He has many moments to shine here - being a grey character or good guy turn villain should give him ample opportunities to display his talent.

I feel the same way I was thinking he was so bland and none of his scenes were memorable. He has never impressed me in any of his roles.
