Yup totally agree with this. So glad they didn't go with the reborn part. I don't think I would watch the drama if it's exactly like the novel. It's a long novel and I have only skimmed through half of it so I'm hoping the ML+FL developed a better relationship and romance in the latter half of the novel.

I love that it's showing the FL catching feeling in the drama. When I was skimping the novel, I didn't feel like the FL actually like the ML. More like resign to the idea of being his wife and only tolerate his touch.
