Ugh the FL is super annoying. I hate stupid FL who wants revenge but has no plan. Her 1st day infiltrating the company, ended up getting drunk and nearly being raped. The ML saved her. The next day he fired her just so she can be safe and leave the company but she still end up getting sexual assaulted again, and also saved by the ML...again. I don't think I can keep on watching if it wasn't for the ML.
This would be more enjoyable for me if the ML/FL visuals are more pleasing to my eyes. This is just my personal opinion, I'm sure others find them very attractive, but to me they look very ordinary, particularly the ML.

The FL is such a damsel in distress. The 2ML didn't stand a chance since he has no money and no power to protect her. The ML in this version is the least toxic and domineering of all the versions I've watched.
You're so right. I think they were confused with which time period this was supposed to be lol. The women dressed like it's the 50s and the set feels like that as well but then the telephone and payphone feel like the 80s and the SML dressed like the 80s/90s.

Yes the intimacy scenes were done so well with Ma Xiao Yu & Guo Yu Xin. I only watched the short version. No way I could stand more angst and seeing the FL suffer for 1 extra hour. I saw below there's another version. I might check it out just for comparison.

I watched the Ma Xiao Yu version first. I think the ML and FL have better chemistry than this one here but I hate how they added a SFL to that one. It was so annoying and I hate the ML in that one for always falling for the sfl's trap. The only thing I didn't like about this one is the ML forced himself on the FL, whereas in the other one, the FL did it voluntarily to repay the ML, even though she knew she was going to die.
ML had to die for being so heartless. I don't care how much he care about the FL but to ignore a little girl running in front of his car and seeing the mom on the ground with a flipped wheelchair and not even offering a helping hand is not a man. So he only care because he found out she was his wife but if it was anyone else, he would leave her to rot. Sorry, he has to die.
If you regularly watch vertical dramas, you will find some scenes quite familiar - I think they stole some lines from The Prince is Wild and ordering some male models from another drama lol This is worth a watch for the main leads. The ending is a bit abrupt, it's a HE but not exactly since the FL is diagnosed with ALS.
