I really like ep 25/26. So many heartwarming moments between the boys and really like their friendship. WH really has such a big heart. Knowing that XC also likes HZ, he still was fair and gave him the chance to make himself better. He was even willing to offer his share of the company stocks to them. And I really like how he defines happiness. XC was thinking about himself when he thinks of happiness but WH was thinking of the person he loves when he thinks about happiness.

I think he definitely appreciate her presence in his life, and not just romantically. One thing I was surprised by ep 25 is the WH is a planner and not the reckless teenager he was, who didn't think about the consequences. He actually thought about what HZ deserves and he wants to be better for her so she deserves all the things she didn't get when she was younger. Even I was touch by what he said to XC. Sorry, I think he deserves HZ way more than XC.

Yes, he has always been protective of her, like beating up the guy who posted inappropriate pics of her online and being sent to jail. I think he's less rash as an adult but still decisive and risk taker. Definitely flawed but he does care alot for his childhood friends.

Actually I wanted them to be the end game. I really like what he said in the car. He listed all her good qualities and he sees her for who she is. He might not sound like it but he really appreciate her presence in his life.
That was Huazi's concern as well about Siyi and Wanghe was like "there is no what if". I think they are going to get together and then Siyi will come back. It will really test whether WH's feeling for Huazi is sincere or not.

I agree with this. Huazi might be in love (or hero worship) with Wanghe but she's not cringy and acts like a lovesick puppy, especially in the adult arc. They act more like family, hence their words are sometimes without filter but you can see how much they care about each other. I think they are both afraid to change the dynamics of their relationship.
