I have to agree with some of the comments - the 2FL is really pretty. In many dramas even though the 2FL is supposed to play the pretty girl, she is usually not all that but I can't help looking at her - her hair, makeup and clothes are also very nice.

Yes agree with this. Everyone think Wanghe is heartless but he went way beyond friendship for XC even knowing he was interesting in Huazi. He still wants him to be successful and earn a decent living. I think that's why he felt so upset that Huazi was taking XC's side. To be blunt, XC is a loser but because he has a pretty face and kind heart, everyone seems to be on his side.

So from what I have gathered from the comments, the FL here is actually way less bitchy than the Thai version. I find her really snarky and bratty here and I'm just on ep 3. I don't think I can stomach the Thai version if that was the case.

I think that's where guys and girls differ. I think guys like them use their fist to get their messages across, like brothers fighting. That's how they were brought up. Their parents will beat them to discipline them.

It seems like Wanghe is the only one who wanted to make it big in Beijing. I guess he being the leader of the group, they all just followed him but none of them has that desire but just all want to be together.

I feel really bad for Wanghe. He seems to be getting alot of hate with whatever he do. He's more mature and has a realistic view of the world but then everyone feel sorry for XC because he has a good heart but irresponsible. Wanghe had to clean up his mess whereas he can just leave and do whatever he wants. The guy can't catch a break.

The only other drama I've watched with her is Wonderland of love but I finished that for Xu Kai. Yes, I agree the script is just very lazy and convenient. Seems like they are always using eavesdropping to move the story forward. The last few episodes were a mess and really make no sense at all. It irks me so much the Grand Princess got a honorary death after all that she has done.

In the end the Grand princess got honorary death. So not satisfying at all after all the evil deeds and killed so many people. Her evilness were not exposed and was told she sacrificed herself to save the emperor? That's so f-up. Most I can give this is a 7.5

The last few episodes were a mess. The emperor is stupid but so are the rest of the people. Not sure why everyone waited until the last minute to expose the Grand princess evil deeds when it was too late.

I agree with you about her looks. I didn't find her that much prettier than her sisters/cousins. Her beauty doesn't really stand out at all from the rest.

isn't Yu Qi and the princess related? I thought they were cousins since she is the Royal princess's daughter and he is the emperor's son. How is marriage allowed between them?

I'm not sure why Jiang Tian is so popular. Her acting is really just mid. I'm on ep13 and I can't really feel any sorrow or rage in her expression when she thought her brother was dead. Her emotions were totally unconvincing to me.

The ML here looks so much like Yan Zi Xian. I always get them mixed up.
