can't believe this is all he's done, such a shame because he is very handsome and a good actor.
Unfortunately, his country is not really happy about BL movies. His first movie could also be his last if he gets banned. Let's hope we can see more of him in the future.
I just watched it after it popped up in my Youtube recommendation list. First, to sum up: a harmless story with a bit of disappointing end. Second, for me, as a non English, the subtitling was more than bad. Sentences with more than 10 words just popping in and out. Had to reduce the speed to 0.5 and still only could get 80%. White script before white background added to the problem. As for the story: for some time I was wondering if I really watch a BL or just some friendship stuff, but at the end it became a bit clear. Ok, homosexuality is in China still the "love, which dares to speak its name", but this was a bit too eventless for me. Took me also some time to watch it, I had to pause it several times. A bit of disappointing, since both actors look cute together and their chemistry was definitely good.
I wanna ask if WeTV VIP users can watch an extra episode or nope? Because I just cancelled my VIP membership :(
It is still 5m to go. I just looked on the app, but i cannot see it. Wetv always uploads it in the last microsecond, though. I let you know, my vip also expires in 2 weeks.
Ok. Still entertaining. But, honestly, ep. 12 was more "cringe-time". I wonder, was "business man" too boring for the director? Or do they imagine one as a kind of mafia guy? I know, the novel depicts Solo's father as a bit of a tough guy, even with his assistants etc. But, come on, he is not the Thai Mafia Godfather...
Then, the story with Linda. Unfortunately, the series is good, when it stays in track of the novel. If it leaves that path, it gets scary.
The worst thing: the side story of Khim/Khem/Perth/Petch is not solved yet. So, I am not looking forward to that next week. I only can hope they won't get too much of the time...
This show started off good at first but it's a little boring. It goes sooo slow. Last 2-3 episodes I skipped a…
I agree. I was in the beginning quite in favor for those actors, but I must admit: I was wrong. I even do not watch it when it premieres, but the following day. Otherwise I will fall asleep.
I wonder, if there is a deeper meaning in this stiffness. They are young, unexperienced actors, but they are soooo wooden. How can that be? When I watch them outside, in interviews or their own YT channels, they show a range of emotions. Maybe their working environment was not right? Maybe Corona's impact? Or there were some conflicts between actors/director, whatever... Or the psychology...Not all of those BL actors are gay. Maybe some just cannot bear this new publicity or have private problems out of this. Maybe the payment wasn't high? So many reasons.
Anyhow: Not only Oxygen is a disappointment. Most of long awaited series disappoint me currently. I am just sad with this one, because I loved the first episode and I thought it is different and promising.
Sorry for this offtopic posting. LBC2 runs on WeTV and I have a subscription there. I watch LBC2 and My gear... , but that's it. I watched some short Korean series, Mr Heart in the past. I wonder if there is more BL there, but their search engine is not very useful. Any other things I could watch? Thanks, and sorry again for spamming.
I wonder why this drama is getting a lower rating than Oxygen. I really got bored while watching few minutes of…
I am usually a pro-Oxygen, but this episode 9 was fantastic (and those before, too). I still do not think that MGAYG is better than OX, but I would at least comply with you that they are quite equal, having their own asthaetics, pros and cons.
The colours alone of this series, the lanterns and Chinese-styled houses, the beach are a feast for the eyes. I still consider 12$ a bit much, but with 5 episodes there will be more than 5 1/2 hours to watch, more than 2 full cinema-movies.
