Just started watching it. It is my first Korean BL, so I am unsure. I have watched till ep. 04. I did not even know that it is currently airing. I came here from Oxygen, because someone said, the story reminds him of Mr Heart. I see how. Very nice plot and story so far.

If you understand Thai, it might be worth watching it. The series is nothing special, the boys are cute. They have also a lesbian couple. A lot of ladyboys. The relation between all of those is not clear to me, because....

... the worst of this series is its translation/subtitling. It is often not there. And if it's there, there are English words, but they do not build English sentences. Or, if they are there, and even understandable, they appear when no one talks, or 20/30 seconds later. Some parts do not have any subtitling at all. That kills all.

A little bit. But in Thailand it is normal to have a girlfriend, even if you have not come out. So I was also a bit surprised of his reaction. But his disappointment is understandable.

The doctors are invented characters. They are not in the novel. No one knows, therefore, what will happen to them :( I do not know if they were taken from another novel, though. But not from the Oxygen-Nitrogen-series.

The original novel is even slower. I think they said the first time I love you to each other in chapter 30-something or even later. Cannot remember. But I see your point and have already posted similar critics.

I agree mostly with you. But the two main characters in the novel actually had this "no personality" thing. While Solo has lost his smile, Gui always smiles. But the novel makes it actually clear, that Gui is not this smiley happy guy we might see in him. I commented some days ago, that the novel has enough stuff. I am rethinking that. A lot of stuff in the novel was instrospection, something which can hardly shown in visual. Another problem is that the relationship Solo-Gui cannot really progress anymore, because that's it. They loved each other from first second. The novel is nothing else than an adoration of this love. There is, in fact, no drama in it. Not even the drama points in the novel. Very hard to make a series out of it, unless you just want something cheesy. (I always put my content-related replies in spoiler, sorry...)

Okay, I agree: episode 5 was better than the previous episodes. But I cannot get warm with the new Tin. He behaves like a freak. I already said that some weeks ago. Come on, the telephone buying scene in season 1 was fun. This now is maniac. He smashes Can's phone? What will he do next? Stuff Can and put him as a doll on the bed? It somehow lost all fun in this season, and this is why I cannot be excited about this.

Youtube abolishes that subtitling. Every uploader is now responsible for its own stuff. They will upload the series with the subtitles they get. I am bit worried about the quality. And lately, there is more in Tagalog and Spanish than English :D

How come that you all know the names of those people? Do you google it? The subtitles are such a mess that I cannot get any info out of them...

I like the harmony and the slow pace. Exactly what I wanted after two lockdowns in my country. But I did not like their kiss in ep. 1. How long did it take in the novel for a kiss? The thumb-lip-kiss was chapter 9 or 10? And the real one around chap. 14, I cannot remember anymore, but it was SLOW. And then. I wonder why putting all those characters in. I love Kao and Phu, but they have their own story. Then filling in several invented characters. I do not really get it. Oxygen has so much content, no need to fill it with other stuff (although I like the doctors scene - again, it would be more valuable to have their own series).

In the novel she is normal. I am a bit sad and/or angry, what the series made out of this character.

Not only in Thai BL, but also in real. Okay, not in Thailand, but Vietnam. My bf invited me to his marriage two years ago (unfortunately, not to the one between him and me). That is now the reason, why he is my ex-bf.

Ok. The premiere on YT is open for me, but as soon as it was over, the videos are blocked. I need to be on time then. At least i can watch it here in Vietnam again

Still, the scenes are mostly slow and serene. I was hoping for that.

I had high expectations after the 1st episode and must say, ep 2 did not meet them. Ok, the series does not follow the novel, I can live with that. But, the acting of Gui is so emotionless. Solo's character does not smile, but Gui is depicted in the novel as someone who always smiles and brings happiness. I cannot see that. The dialogues were, in fact, quite wooden. When he talks to Khim it is like he is reading the telephone book to her.

The other stories of the doctors and Kao/Phu developed in a more interesting way. I see that they are not in the book, so there are some problems of integrating them here into the storyline. Kao follows quite well his description, though. I like this character very much.

I will try to watch the premiere on Sunday evening on youtube. Maybe that is still available. If not, I will drop this until I found a way to watch it.

Looks nice and funny. I do not care about BL or not. There is also a life outside BL, so I can live with that. I think, the problems lie more on Thai humor, which is often strange to me.

I found out what it is. It was not WeTV, but Rogers Films on Facebook. Supporters have special access and were shown this special scene with a kiss.
