I was thinking about this yesterday. We actually got most of the answers, there's not much left to be covered this season, in order to wrap it up good.

I doubt they will put accent on the man in black, like a final battle with him. At best, XQA will find out the secret behind the man in black and he will take care of it in the following seasons. We know from the novel spoilers that is a big story behind him so they can leave that aside for next season. At most, the man in black will try something and fail again while XQA is out of Dafeng. I think the man in black will be the last one to fight. Right now he is playing a game of chess with the Supervisor. The pieces are still moving.

The Emperor is the one that upset us the most, the closest enemy so far, so we need the proof that he is evil or smth that will make XQA go crazy enough to deal with him directly and very very soon.

Shen Shu can even continue resting in XQA until the next season when he will emerge at a certain point and we'll see what's the story of Shen Shu, who is he exactly and if they will be friends or not and in what way Shen Shu will help shaping the future events.

As for the others, they're all spinning around XQA. The teachers will continue teaching him, the fighters will remain by his side for the battles to come, maybe in the name of fun we'll have a small marriage ceremony for Xinnian and he will stop being melodramatic when he'll feel the warmth of his wife's body...God help !....but that's irrelevant. I am not angry for the votes of others. I said that even if the rating would be 0, it doesn't matter. That was a response to those who are still sad and feel that the rating is low. There are many of those. So, I specified that this process of voting and the criteria of voting seems a joke and I gave one simple example why I think that. I also specified that it doesn't matter what is here, among a few people that vote. If it's a matter of matter then it should matter to China. But why ? If it's not the ending you would expect you will drop points ? After 39 episodes that actually kept you close and entertained ? A sad ending can be as beatiful and deep as a happy one. For romantics and optimists we need a happy one, for down to earh people knowing how the world actually works it needs a darker end. But nobody stops to asks what is the end that is most suited. And more so, it is the vision of the writer. It's like you throw to the trash his entire work because it was not what you want 100%.When did we become so self centered ? So mean. So ruthless.

I think that's great. You give only 10 if you like it and nothing if you don't. Because all of them are hard work. To make a difference, you can look at the no. of viewers and see which one was more enjoyed.

What's happening here, on MDL is a joke. I didn't know that when you laugh out loud and clearly it brings you joy, one would rate it under 10. But here everyone was born a producer, a director, a screenwriter. Here if you laughed too much or you expected to laugh even more you instantly drop points. If it's not your genre of comedy you drop points again because why wasn't it your genre ? Why wasn't it stand up comedy and is physical comedy ? And this is just one example and pls don’t get me started.

Here, except for the insane fanatics, a lot of people are just chasing the things they like less just to drop the score. It’s an eternal hunt of which drama made the most mistakes according to their personal view. You can never get an actual reliable score. Here we all know better. From my pov, this drama can be even rated at 0 on MDL. It makes no difference with a few thousand people rating. Let's look at Tencent where million of people rate it and then we are on to smth. There, the rating is at 9.1 and it still has to come the last wave of voters that will binge watch it at the end of the 40th episode. The most of the voters.

People are surprised it got up to 8k comments. In China there were 10 mil discussions and 150 mil comment engagements. This shows how small we are here. MDL is just another joke filled with negativity and condescending tone. What matters, if anything should matter, is how this drama was received in China because it was made for China. And it's a well known fact that it's considered a blockbuster and the 4th explosively drama produced by Xinli, following The Legend of ShenLi, Joy of Life 2 (only S2) and Tale of Rose (following means it was produced after them, NOT that is worse than them...lol...for those who are still dreaming). That's a fact !

So go ahead and continue to rate it low. Because only negativity defines you. As for the rest of us who are grateful for every moment of joy and happiness that a drama brings to us, even if it’s not perfect, we know what we have to do.

I really think this will come as a surprise. Maybe it's already filmed. We know DD wouldn't get into long projects, for years to come. it's just not his type.
