If it was my country i would be as offended.Maybe you dont have any pride and dont respect your country
Don't waste your time with this moron. aska, along with nycfoodie are just two communist-wannabes who are writing nonsense to get attention. They didn't even watch the show, but are blindly trusting what those c-netz said, and pretending to be experts on South Korea-China relation. They've already been on other relevant articles bashing on people they don't disagree with. At the end of the day, if they discover they can't win against you, they'll just resort to calling you koreaboo and idiot. Trust me, they're not worth your time.

Title Tempest
Aldo why is John cho who has like 5 mins of screen time listed third in the cast list?
Don't kill me for saying this, but I feel like he's a diversity hire, where producers added him along with other foreign actors to make it more appealing to international viewers. But that doesn't mean they'll give him a large part. After all, they don't want to take attention away from Jun Ji Hyun.

You mean John Cho? I kinda feel like he's more a support character than main character, but then again, we still have... 2-3 episodes left? So, who knows?

Just ignore them. This user, along with aska and nycfoodie, are basically communist-wannabes who are just blindly reacting to whatever c-netz are reacting to. The real kicker? They didn't even watch the show! So they basically have no clue what's happening. Just blindly copying c-netz comments, like following the herd of dumb sheep to the edge of the cliff. The CCP trolls are just using them to distract the Chinese people from Yu Menglong's murder investigation. These idiots are being used and they don't even realize it.

Everyone gets offended by someone/thing in life. Isn’t about time you all tried to be positive. If your so upset,…
Don't waste your time with this fool. They and aska are just a bunch of communist-wannabes who didn't even watch the show, but are acting as if they're experts on the South Korea-China relations. They're just blindly copying what some Chinese netizens are saying without a clue as to what the actual situation is.

What's hilarious is that the Chinese people had to either use VPN to bypass the CCP restrictions (which is illegal), or watch it on a pirated site (also illegal). So, imagine how stupid they look when they exposed themselves for watching foreign shows through illegal methods.

@David33 It's better to remain silent and be thought a fool (or koreaboo) than to speak and to remove all doubt.
That seems to be their pattern. If they can't win an argument against you, nycfoodie would call you koreaboo, and aska would call you an idiot. It's like watching a bully lose a fight and still insists he won lmao.

Just losers that want attention. Not worth it. And the CCP is just using these fools to distract netizens from the Yu Menglong murder investigation. These idiots are being used and they don't even realize it.

Just ignore these communist trolls. They've been going around bashing on anyone who disagree with them. Also, they BOTH admitted they didn't watch the show, which means they're just blindly reacting alongside with the equally dumb Chinese netizens without understanding the situation. Don't waste your time. Just report them, block them and then move on. These worthless idiots aren't worthy of your attention.

They got butthurt because of ONE single quote that Jun Ji Hyun said in the show, "Why do China favor war?" Or something along that context depending on the translation. That, and some netizens also got mad because in a scene where a meeting took place inside the Blue House (I think?), and the carpet was red and had stars on them. Some c-netz claimed it resembled the flag of China, and that the Koreans are insulting their flag by stepping on it.

Though, silver lining, the more offended the Chinese are, the more people want to watch it, and then laugh at them for blowing things out of proportion.

Mainland Chinese get offended over Thai dramas, too. That, and they're absolutely rotten to Thai celebs. I'm still pissed about what they did to Orm at her fansign in China. They practically kept her and her mom imprisoned at the venue and forced her to keep working even though she was exhausted..

Chinese netizens get a grip. This is a work of fiction after all.
Just report and block these fools. They didn't even watch Tempest. They're just blindly writing nonsense because some Chinese netizens are triggered over something that was taken out of context. They're just communist-wannabes who are trying to distract people from looking into Yu Menglong's murder.

We could say it's just a fiction, but it's funny how the shoe fits for Chinese people. I mean, isn't their country…
So true. What's ironic is that Chinese netizens are butthurt over how other countries portray them, but watch their dramas and movies, and you'll see that they love to make foreign countries the villains and antagonists. Cauasians and Africans tend to be painted in a bad light, but you don't see people calling them out for anti-world sentiment. Honestly, these mainlanders... *smh

Just ignore nycfoodie and aska. They're just two communist-wannabes who are blindly following the Chinese netizens because they crave attention. I wouldn't believe a word they said. Here, aska said they're half Brit/European. In another article, they claimed to be half Asian. Plus, neither of them even watched Tempest, so they're just copying other people's comments for likes. Don't waste your time with these idiots.

PS. I don't think China is the worst country in the world. It's their GOVERNMENT that's the worst.

Don't waste your time with this nycfoodie fool. They, along with Aska, are just some communist-wannabes who believe they're being advocates of justice because some Chinese netizens are calling out Tempest over a non-existent anti-China sentiment. What's ironic is that these two users admitted they didn't even watch the show. They're just blindly following the c-netz like idiots.

What's hilarious is that neither of these shows aired in China. Chinese netizens bypassed the ban with a VPN, or they watched it on a pirated site, then whine like a child because they saw something they didn't understand, but hey, they mentioned China, so it must be offensive. Ironically, most of these so-called keyboard warrior didn't even watch Tempest. Like nycfoodie and aska, they're just blindly following the c-netz like sheep.

What's ironic is that neither of these shows were airred in China. The netizens bypassed the ban with a VPN, or watched it on a pirated site, then got all butthurt over something that was taken out of context. What's even more hilarious is that the majority of them have never even watched the show. They just saw someone online calling the show out for anti-China sentiment, and just blindly joined in.

The police first ruled it a suicide and tried to close the case quickly, but then netizens caught a lot of suspicious details surrounding his death, which forced the police to reopen the case and launch an investigation. There are a lot of fake news and misinformation to sift through, but so far, what's true is that the perpetrator has CCP ties, and may even be linked to Xi Jinping, though I'm on the fence about the latter. The CCP ties is more or less confirmed given his family's connections.
