But if you want to know about Almond/Progress' upcoming projects, you'll probably need to wait until Oct/Nov of this year. They usually announce their new lineup around that time.

Haters will find any reason to bash on a series. Some of them feel GMMTV is wrong to fire him, so they're taking it out on the cast and crew. Keaton is even getting hate from Justin's supporters, accusing him of abandoning his partner. Like WTF? Did they think he had a say in this?

It's a no brainer. Justin f***ed up. He signed a contract knowing full well the terms and condtions, and he knowingly breached them. In most cases, you break the rules, you're out. That's the reality of the entertainment industry. The company doesn't owe you an explanation. Their focus right now is making sure they don't lose any more money because of Justin, make sure their sponsors don't pull out because of Justin, make sure this series doesn't flop because of Justin, and make sure no more artists are affected by Justin.

Other than screwing up MilkLove's interview back in 2024, I don't know what Neo did recently, so I can't comment on him. If you're referring to Prom's controversial remarks back in 2023, he has already publicly apologized for what he said. I was under the impression that netizens have moved on from it, given he has gone on to act in five other series. It's only because of Justin's scandal that his past actions are being dug up and compared. However, neither one of them have intentionally breached the terms of their contracts the way Justin did, so I'm not sure why you're comparing them.

I don't know anything about Justin's parents, or what kind of relationship they have with their son. Maybe they're unaware of their son's online behavior or they know but they chose to look the other way. No matter what, they are responsible for his upbringing, so they are partly responsible for Justin's behavior.

However, this particular controversy is on Justin. GMMTV didn't put him into this situation. He put himself into this situation. GMMTV is not his parents, nor his teacher, nor his therapist. GMMTV is his employer. So naturally, they'll respond to the controversy like a boss disciplining an employee, and in this case, contract termination. Given Justin's behavior, he clearly doesn't take GMMTV's rules and regulations seriously, so why should they show him any mercy or compassion? He hasn't given them a reason to trust him, so there's no reason they should give him a second chance so easily. They're not running a charity here.

School and workplace are two completely different environments, with two completely different set of rules. If Justin doesn't understand that, then he clearly isn't ready to work in the entertainment industry.

As for GMMTV, they are at fault for not doing a thorough investigation into Justin's background. It's not uncommon for artists to hide their past behaviors because they're ashamed of it, but in Justin's case, it's just absolute gross negligence. Not to mention, his bad behavior went on for three years, and continued even after he joined the company. If netizens could find out, how hard is it for the company to find out? Hopefully, this will serve as a hard lesson for them to do better.
