P'Aof always delivers. I got goosebumps watching the episode. Anyone who's religious (or was at one point) could probably relate to Tanrak's internal conflict.

They messed up with DYTD by changing directors. The original one was a good one, but he had other commitments, which is why the job went to P'Dome. Also, the novel originally wasn't entirely BL. The romance only came AFTER the mystery was solved, and it only happened in the special chapters. They basically crammed a lot of unnecessary romantic scene into the series.

Head 2 Head was okay. I gave it some leeway since SeaKeen are fairly new to acting (think this is their second collab), so I didn't take it that seriously. I'd say his worst is Revamp. I mean, seriously? We waited over two years for that?! The original concept was amazing, but then once GMMTV dug their claws into it the whole thing was shot to hell.

One of the issues fans have with P'New is that he's always juggling multiple projects at the same time, which makes it difficult to ensure the quality of each work. Don't get me wrong, it's good that he's working hard, but it's not good for everyone else if he's spreading himself too thin.

P'New isn't with GMMTV. He has done projects for them, but currently, he's the creative lead for Studio Wabi Sabi. Plus, if you're judging him based on his GMMTV works, then he's still not the worst. However, fans have noticed that he's better at directing light-hearted school-themed series like We Are, Perfect 10 Liners and Head 2 Head. Everything else, and he's... well... I guess we all remember the disaster that is My Romance Scammer. I honestly cannot figure out how that show got an 8.2 here.

His most recent work, When Oranges Fall, just came out, and so far, feedback has been positive.

Also, if you've never heard of Suntiny then it's best if you don't watch it. Trust me, you won't be missing anything.

Whoa, that's just rude. P'New may not be the best BL director, but he's certainly not the worst. At least he has some good series to show for it. You wanna know who the worst director is? P'Cheewin. Dude's been slumming since Lovesick 2024. What were they thinking, letting him direct ChermChey? After the way he butchered Suntiny?

First of all, no one is being sarcastic. Second, even though the age gap makes it weird, but my guess is they want to deviate from the novel and lessen the confusion with viewers. Frankly, I'm less concerned with who's playing who, and more concerned about the director. He... doesn't have the best track record directing BL. I mean, his past works were pretty good, but his recent works have been... let's just say I'm still pissed about how Suntiny turned out.

That was the case in the pilot, but from the fitting, it looks like they changed it so Ohm is going to play his twin. Kinda bummed about it. I wanted to see Max play dual roles.

I don't mind the wait. I'd rather they take their time to ensure the quality of the series.

SurfJava still has a long way to go before they can head a series together. Plus, they're already cast in Roommate Chaos. If they do well in that series, then maybe GMMTV will give them their own series in 2027. TayNew is currently filming A Dog and A Plane, so at least we'll see them in something this year. PPW have good acting skills, but I'm not sure if GMMTV are keen on putting them in another mafia series. The last thing they want is for people to do comparisons with Me and Thee. JossGawin is probably the most likely candidate. I can actually see Joss playing the down-on-his-luck, need a pick-me-up type of character in this. It's quite similar to the role he played in Mama Gogo. Age-wise, it could work, given the mature theme of the series.

GMMTV would've specify in their statement if the series has been canceled. From the looks of it, they're gonna try to see if the characters can be recast. After all, there are still three pairs of CP without a series in the 2026 lineup after the cancellation of Replay.

While it's true that Chimon never said he'll never do BL again, at the time, he stated he wanted to focus on his treatment and his own solo career. That's why many people were surprised to see him paired with Sing in Match Point. Tbh, I'm not feeling Sing and Chimon as a CP, but Chimon seems much more comfortable in this partnership (but that's just me). I guess it helps that they've known each other for years.

On the other hand, I can't really visualize these two in this series. After seeing them in Dare You to Death, I'm more interested in them acting in a police procedural, psychological thriller, "cat-and-mouse chase" type of genre. As for who would play the cop and who would play the serial killer, well....

To be honest, the fake dating/professional boyfriend/contractual marriage-turned real trope is nothing new. There're quite a number of manhwa and manga on it, and don't get me started on fanfics. Hell, even short dramas are dipping their hands into it. The concept is hardly unique, but it's how the series presents it that makes it interesting.

Peaceful Property? There's quite a bit of humor, though some of the stories behind the haunted properties are pretty sad.

There's really nothing to it. CPs are usually just a contract between two people. They probably tried it out, and decided this isn't what they want to do in the long run. So, once the contract expired, they chose not to renew it. It's pointless to make guesses and speculations about what went wrong. After all, at the end of the day, this is just a business. If they wish to explore another career path the least fans can do is support their decision.

Unless there's something problematic about the series (like Replay), they'll likely try to recast first, since there are still two pairs of CPs without a series.

They've only announced the series last year. In most cases, they only have the cast and crew, and (maybe) the draft of the first couple of episodes. For this series, the script is probably incomplete, and they haven't even had a fitting or workshop yet, so my guess is they'll have to go back to the drawing board and make some changes. Is it gonna get buried? It's a chance, but imo, it's a low one, given the director is not a newbie, and his latest project just premiered. Unless GMMTV has budget problems, he should be able to find a way to make this series happen, whether this year or next year.

Things are about to get messy now that Boston got added into the mix.

Kinda ambiguous, if you ask me. They reconciled, but for how long? Until the next time Ko screws up, or when Jira starts getting restless again?
