I don't know anything about Justin's parents, or what kind of relationship they have with their son. Maybe they're unaware of their son's online behavior or they know but they chose to look the other. No matter what, they are responsible for his upbringing, so they are responsible for Justin's behavior.

However, this particular controversy is on Justin. GMMTV didn't put him into this situation. He put himself into this situation. GMMTV is not his parents, nor his teacher, nor his therapist. GMMTV is his employer. So naturally, they'll respond to the controversy like a boss disciplining an employee, and in this case, contract termination. Given Justin's behavior, he clearly doesn't take GMMTV's rules and regulations seriously, so why should they show him any mercy or compassion? He hasn't given them a reason to trust him, so there's no reason why they should give him a second chance so easily.

School and workplace are two completel different environments, with two completely different set of rules. If Justin doesn't understand that, then he clearly isn't ready to work in the entertainment industry.

As for GMMTV, they are at fault for not doing a thorough investigation into Justin's background. It's not uncommon for artists to hide their past behaviors because they're ashamed of it, but in Justin's case, it's just absolute gross negligence. Not to mention, his bad behavior went on for three years, and continued even after he joined the company. If netizens could find out, how hard is it for the company to find out? As for GMMTV not doing enough to prepare him, I think that's BS. Before Justin signed with GMMTV, he was a trainee under Idol Factory for three years. He even starred in a series last year. He's not a clueless kid. Justin signed with GMMTV knowing full well of the terms of his contract, and he knowingly breached his contract. If he's going to disrespect the company and disregard their rules, there's no need for them to extend any courtesy to him.

As for forgiveness, that'll take time. I saw online that more people have forgiven him after he issued his second apology, but it'll be a while before people can move on from it. You can't demand forgiveness when people aren't ready to give it.

His termination is already a small act of mercy. Had he stayed, he would've been suspended. Which means he'd be tossed aside, with no work planned for him, and he won't be able to find work outside the company. In short, he'll waste away in the company while waiting for his contract to expire, which will be damaging to his career. That's what happened to Pawin.

From your comment, it sounds like you're calling out the company for having double standards. In reality, that's common practice for pretty much every other company out there. No one is treated equally. Of course they're less likely to fire a more popular/established actor. Unlike Justin, they've established a connection with the company, and contributed thousands or even millions in revenues and ambassadorship. That's the difference between them and Justin. They have network, connections, seniority and experience as leverage. Justin has nothing.

As for the company not reminding him to clean up his accounts, it's not their job to do that. Justin is not a rookie. Before he signed with GMMTV, he was signed with Idol Factory. So, he should already know these things. He may be 15, but at the company, he won't be treated like a student. He'll be treated like an employee. If he lacks that type of common sense, then that's on him.

What's worse, is before his first apology, some netizens discovered he tried to delete his posts when he got exposed. It's all over Reddit and X.
