You mean Rome? It could happen, though I think GMMTV might wait to see how Me and Thee did with ratings and viewership before deciding whether or not to adapt Calm Down Mr. Rome. Would be nice if they'd do it. I think fans are dying to see William and Est do a 2nd collab together. Thame Po was amazing, without a doubt one of my favorites.

I'm just gonna wait for the last episode to air and just watch the rest in one go. There are only two episodes left anyway. Kinda need some time to recover after what happened in episode 12.

Maybe it's just me, but I found it easier to hate Tomoya (Japanese version of Minhwan) in this adaptation than in the Korean version. Don't get me wrong, Lee Yi Kyung is an incredible actor, but every time I see him, all I can think of is, "Gwenchana Gwenchana!!"

In the Korean version, Minhwan somehow managed to come across as funny and infuriating at the same time. In the Japanese version, I just wanna kill Tomoya. Of course, no hate to the actor. Yokoyama Yu has done a fantastic job bringing the character to life. He actually follows more closely with the web novel.

I stop taking them seriously a long time ago. They probably just wait for the show to end and then binge watch it in one go.

Came for MaxNat, stayed for Earth. At this rate, he's practically carrying the entire show (even if he doesn't have a lot of screen time).

Ravipon was his first name, but it was later changed to Supha. It's not uncommon for Thais to change their names for personal, religious or career reasons. Hell, some people change it to improve their luck.

Um, not necessary. Production is weird that way. They don't always go for what you think it's the logical direction, but oh well. At the end of the day, it's just entertainment. I've read the novel, too. Personally, i prefer the novel version, though I watch the show because of Yang Zi.

Author cited Baidu as her source. That's basically China's Wikipedia, so she probably just took that and translated it into English, and added parts of the novel into the article, as well. To be honest, if the drama is based on a novel (loosely or closely), then chances are readers have already spoiled it. Most people watch these shows either for the acting, the costumes, or so that they can compare the drama with the novel.

This is why nowadays, I prefer original scripts over adaptations. At least those are harder to spoil.

C-dramas are pretty repetitive nowadays. Too many restrictions, too many rules, and little room for creativity. Heck, even the titles are becoming repetitive.

I wasn't sure what to make of this show at first. It's like MaxNat are trying to shake off their previous labels and go in a completely new direction. Yet, in the midst of the chaos and confusion, they somehow made it work. After Naughty Babe and Two Worlds, I feel like they're introducing a new side of themselves.

GMMTV is not DMD, but ever since the success of SOTUS, 2gether and Tale of Thousand Stars, they have shifted their focus to BL series. Not to mention, if you've seen their 2025 lineup, out of the 19 shows announced, 15 of them are BL. If they wanna stay on top of their competitors, they'll need to have something for everyone, and that means striking a balance between BL/GL/BG shows.

Don't get me wrong. They do produce great BL shows, but BL is only one genre in the entertainment industry. To stay on top, they need more versatility.

DMD really pushed the boundaries with that one.

What are you talking about? This show was announced in GMMTV's 2024 part 2 lineup. However, given there hasn't been any updates until recently, most people believed it was either shelved or canceled. After all, the director was working on another project, and most of the cast were filming other series, as well. The cast change is the first time anyone realize this series is finally happening.

His acting has gotten better in Two Worlds. Plus, now that he has finished his studies, he should have more time to focus on acting.

Glad to see GMMTV finally came to their senses and diversify their lineup instead of limiting themselves to only BL series. Can't wait to see Pat in a series. She was so good in Dalah: Death and the Flowers.
