Author cited Baidu as her source. That's basically China's Wikipedia, so she probably just took that and translated it into English, and added parts of the novel into the article, as well. To be honest, if the drama is based on a novel (loosely or closely), then chances are readers have already spoiled it. Most people watch these shows either for the acting, the costumes, or so that they can compare the drama with the novel.

This is why nowadays, I prefer original scripts over adaptations. At least those are harder to spoil.

C-dramas are pretty repetitive nowadays. Too many restrictions, too many rules, and little room for creativity. Heck, even the titles are becoming repetitive.

I wasn't sure what to make of this show at first. It's like MaxNat are trying to shake off their previous labels and go in a completely new direction. Yet, in the midst of the chaos and confusion, they somehow made it work. After Naughty Babe and Two Worlds, I feel like they're introducing a new side of themselves.

GMMTV is not DMD, but ever since the success of SOTUS, 2gether and Tale of Thousand Stars, they have shifted their focus to BL series. Not to mention, if you've seen their 2025 lineup, out of the 19 shows announced, 15 of them are BL. If they wanna stay on top of their competitors, they'll need to have something for everyone, and that means striking a balance between BL/GL/BG shows.

Don't get me wrong. They do produce great BL shows, but BL is only one genre in the entertainment industry. To stay on top, they need more versatility.

What are you talking about? This show was announced in GMMTV's 2024 part 2 lineup. However, given there hasn't been any updates until recently, most people believed it was either shelved or canceled. After all, the director was working on another project, and most of the cast were filming other series, as well. The cast change is the first time anyone realize this series is finally happening.

His acting has gotten better in Two Worlds. Plus, now that he has finished his studies, he should have more time to focus on acting.

Glad to see GMMTV finally came to their senses and diversify their lineup instead of limiting themselves to only BL series. Can't wait to see Pat in a series. She was so good in Dalah: Death and the Flowers.

It takes at least a year to film a movie, and that's not counting post-production. The teaser pilot was released at the end of 2023, and since it's a collab with iQIYI, it's possible they started filming shortly afterwards.

They haven't started filming yet, and I don't think they even have a script ready. Currently, there are several projects that have started filming, so chances are DYTD may not start filming until the end of this year. As for Drake's replacement, I wouldn't worry. GMMTV has signed a bunch of new young artists, so it'll probably be one of them.

Yeah, I get it. It's a shame, because the novel was promising, but when they brought it to the small screens, it's like everything fell apart.

Still, I hope GMMTV won't give up on them. They might not be the most popular CP, but they're both good actors.

It sort of reminded me of Star In My Mind, Joongdunk's first series. One of those hardly original, not the best but not the worst series that didn't have the best planning and directing, but hey, you stick around because you liked the CP. I'd say not bad for MarkOhm's first series, though I sure hope GMMTV gives them something better next time.

It had a good start, but then the direction just... scattered. Sadly, the show was overshadowed by other more hyped-up shows like Break-up Service, My Golden Blood, Leap Day, and Boys in Love. It's too bad GMMTV didn't make more effort with this show. The cast gave it their all, but the storyline is just all over the place. There's potential with MarkOhm, and I wish them all the best in their future projects.

If they're following the novel, then there should be quite a few steamy scenes.

I know couples in dom/sub relationships and this ain't it. Both parties are equal in standing, and they have to be in agreement with whatever arrangements they have in the relationship. Whatever that's happening between Ramil and Paytai isn't that. There is some serious power imbalance here. Despite Ramil's attitude towards Paytai, Paytai is first and foremost a servant of the Phuchongphisut family. That means he doesn't have a say in whatever role he plays as in Ramil's life. That's not a relationship is supposed to be like.
