Another character which doesn’t suit Earth at all 😩Man what’s wrong with GMMTV Earth is a good actor but…
Actually, this role suits him. From the trailer, he seems to be have embraced the role and added his own spin to it. Plus, the Japanese production team specifically picked him and Mix for the roles of Haruta and Maki, and I gotta say, they couldn't have picked a better duo.

Personally, I thought he did a good job in Moonlight Chicken. His portrayal of a high school student in Ploy's Yearbook is less convincing, but other than that, the rest of his scenes are fine. The high school scenes are all flashbacks anyway, so it didn't affect his character that much.

Well Jimmy still can pull the looks of a teenager but Earth literally can't. He wasn't looking like a teenager…
Lmao wow seriously? You're dragging in K-pop just to get at me? How creative. It's not Earth's fault that GMMTV cast him as a high school student, you know? He can't do anything about his looks. Just because you don't like him doesn't mean you need to project that negativity onto others. *rofl

EarthMix really should do more comedy. I couldn't stop laughing and smiling throughout the trailer. I was initially on the fence about how this would turn out, given how much I love the original and Hong Kong adaptation, and let's face it, GMMTV doesn't exactly have the best history in creating good remakes. Still, after Cherry Magic, and after watching the trailer, I'm willing to give this a shot.

Compared with Earth's ahjussi face, yes.

Maybe 5'5" or 5'6", but definitely not 5'7". Though perhaps it's the camera angle that makes their height contrast seem more obvious?

I didn't like their last projects with WBSB, so I love hearing that this will take a new direction. GMM has been…
Gawin is partnered with Joss for My Golden Blood, which is another drama about vampires. But from the looks of it, I guess GMMTV is going for the supernatural concept this year.

Loving the TaiKram backstory but at the same time feeling sad because we all know how their story ends.

Jimmy has a baby face, so it's not hard to pull off the high school look. While Earth's looks aren't as convincing, his acting helps to distinguish between his younger and older self. Still, I can't help but feel he'd be more convincing playing a teacher. After all, he played one on Find Yourself.

Earth probably broke the record for being the oldest highschooler in GMMTV lol. :P

What the hell did I just watch??!? XD
I didn't understand a word of what's being sung, but I laughed a good five minutes over it. You definitely can't find another Snow White like that lmao.

This is my first time listening to Wonderframe and I have to say, it's interesting, appealing in a quirky and campy kind of way.

Jimmy and Earth will soon be 15 years old with a 40-year-old face
I burst out laughing when I saw Earth in a high school uniform. I mean, he's not a bad actor, and I did have high school classmates who looked older than their age, but bad enough that OffGun played college students when they're both in their 30's, but Earth (who's 29-30 y.o. when they shot this series) looked even more ridiculous as a highschooler. What was GMMTV thinking?!

That lipstick seriously has to go.

I don't think Kram is ever in love with Phupha in world 1. He just happens to remind him of the Phupha he knew, so he's clinging onto that. That's why he want to save him, since he doesn't want him to suffer the same fate as Phupha in world 2. Plus, if Kram had any feelings for Phupha, they're pretty much gone in episode 4 when Phupha betrayed him to Tai's father in order to save himself.

Same here! Never in a million years did I thought I'd hear "Oh come, all ye faithful" used as background music on one hot summer day. XD

Lol, somehow I doubt he cares. He's not the Phupha Kram knew. This version only cares about himself.

Unforgotten Night was one series I wish I could forget. That, and Big Dragon. If it wasn't for MosBank, I would've gone after the production team with a machete. Why they adapted a novel that's about 90% smut and tried to make it watchable is anyone's guess.

Well, the series is based on a novel lol, and yes, the plot is very complex. That's why a lot of readers are concerned they might not be able to bring the novel to life with just 10 episodes. However, it's not just up to the screenwriters. There are a lot of factors to take into consideration, eg. budget, what producers want, what the director wants, the schedule, meeting deadlines, post-production, approval from governing departments, etc.

One thing I've noticed from most Thai dramas is that, unlike Chinese or other Asian dramas, where they sometimes change the script during production, T-dramas don't seem to have that flexibility. I don't know if that's a cultural thing, or perhaps that's the way their industry works.

nell has answered most of it, but for the waiting to kill Kram part, you gotta remember, Por (Tai's father) is a fucking psychopath. He has an obsession with needing to control everything and everyone around him, and if things don't his way, he goes berserk. I mean, the man killed Kram1 because he couldn't stand his son being gay. As for Kram2, he's pretty much messing with him by showing him that he can kill him anytime he wants, and that Kram's life is in his hands to do as he please. Hence the long dragged-out wait, and the scene where he gets a front row seat to watch Kram's "execution."
