I am very inexperienced on MyDramalist and pretty much use it to share my opinions on some of the shows (dramas and movies) that I watch. I would have to say that I am addicted to Kdramas, but i also watch a lot of Cdramas and Jdramas. Oddly enough, I watch so much of them that I occassionally find myself reading the subtitles and thinking '...that's not what s/he said. Lol. That happens frequently with Kdramas and recently it has started happening more often with Cdramas. Less so with Jdramas, but I tend to watch the Jdramas less frequently.

I almost exclusively watch Romantic, Romantic Comedy, and Period pieces. I like the 'happy feeling'. That being said, I did watch K2 (Korean) and really enjoyed it. 

In any case, if my opinions help you find or enjoy a new drama (K, C, or J), then great! Enjoy.
