lol. maybe i will give it a try some day. i've seen him lately in the equator man, but i have more of a crush on Uhm Tae Woong. Right off the bat I took a liking to Yushin, I think UTW should do some more saeguks one of these days.

yes, two eps are left, but they will air after the olympics, so probably 11-12 August. I am also waiting until bride mask finishes before i start watching it. Waitinf for new eps would be painful. No and I don't intend to. I don't like Lee Min Ho. Boys before flowers was ok...but that's it for me from him. His acting leaves a lot to be desired. I'd probably give it a try if someone else was in it. Are you interested in that drama? It did sound ok, but Lee Min ho iss to much for me to bear.

hah well i am a little biased but he i a good actor. let me know if you dislike it to. It had great ratings in Korea and because it was popular, it was extended. Yes, right now I need, but I really NEED to finish QSD. After that I have a line up of dramas I need to watch and then I will return to QSD, because it is a very content-rich sageuk. I also look forward to finishing A gentemanls dignity after the olympics. Have you been watching it?

Also, thanks for bearing with my impatience, I just really need to see first how the drama plays put because already watching it like that it;s so exciting. Then I will have a peace of mind to revisit and appreciate the details and do a more in-depth appreciation, especially since I intend to write episode recaps for it. I will need time to make deeper judgments.

and the show plays on some ridiculous premise that works for this particular coporation. it;s very different from most dramas set in the corporate world that I've seen.

Fact of the matter is I am rushing through Seon Duk, is too exiciting for me and I first need to see how it plays out in order to rewatch it and appreciate it more deeply. Salaryman is refreshingly wacky and Lee Beom Suu is really worth seeing in this role as the quick-witted Yoo Bang who shows that an average salaryman can be better than cuthroat executives and is very suited to play their game It's a drama I could term "cool". IT has a wackly love interest- the girl is more akin to an aggressive tsundere than a meek lamb. Yoo bang is very similar to Gangmo from Giant, there is a dose of drama, ecitmenet and sentiments, peppered with touches of slapstick. It's pretty much an explosive mox of the serious, the wacky, the typical from a good male scriptwriter. The acting is great. Lee Beom Su likes to play in slapstick comedies which do have a lot of cheese in it like Righhteous chief.

Maybe one day you will be able to watch saeguks. They are generally longer, too, so that is also something that can put off. Once you get into them, they will also tend tof all back on the One True Korean Plot, however from time to time, in order to sell better. To be honest I am findin Seon Duk so nail biting that I am skipping some parts just to see how it plays out first, I will need to rewatch it to appreciate it more deeply, but the acting in there is just stellar. Do you swim in the sea? Swimming must be very relaxing. I wouldn't know- I was never able to conquer my fear of lying diown on water, I always fear that if I do, somehow the water will end up consuming me. It's irrational but somehow I wa never able to get rid of that fear so I do envy people who swim :) Not much holiday for me- I am now doing a translation for an event, but it;s a change of pace a little.

I can't watch this clamly at the moment. it;s like it is devouring me. But Yeona, I just want to say thank you for watching with me :) It's even more exciting.

The show will keep you on the edge of your seat all the time. It does not avoid cliched overdramatisations but…
and the show has so much depth and complexity, you'll swim in it!

So opposite from Yushin. But that's why this drama is great. But with time as I unravel more of this, despite my pity for Bidam and the way he was coldly treated by Munno and for his circumstances in general, my love for yushin only grows because I do not think I willb e able to understand Bidam or be willing to justify his actions. in this respect I feel like Munno and th words Bidam directs at him - is there a master who FEARS his own pupil? I accept as well. He's terrifying and hurt. Pitiful creature. This drama has so much depth you can just swim in it .

oh wait I think I know. It was around the time when he was telling Mishil how the master was never fully satisfied with him. I pity him, but I think I can see what;s going to happen. He will be acting to impress his mother and he wants power for that reason and I am afraid he will do everything to elininate yushin. Deokman is for division and balance of powers, after all. Not sure hiw this links yet, but I sense Bidam will be worse than his mother in a way. I am sorry, I pity him and all but I can;t find myself to like him or her. Yushin is a righteous character that acts nobly and with a sense of self-sacrifice. Bidam and Mishil act selfishly and their behaviour is too muchf or me to swallow. How can he liove Deokman if he is going to try and usurp power for sure given that he has ulterior motives from the moment that idea is planted into his head!

Oh why did i miss that? I kn ow Mishil says those words, and she is in serious doubts. I can't recall him finding out, though. They had that fight and he told him to follow the lead of Yushin and support Deokman and ot was so touching when he accepted him as his pupil. But i haven't seen beyond ep 37 yet. I will be rewatching the drama in the future for sure, however, it's too good. I'll go back and revise, I must have missed it for sone reason, or maybe something was cut...

akin to watching dramas together, and it makes things so much more exciting, in fact it incites the interest. I will be watching Mars when I am dne with Seon Duk but I will need something light first, so I'll orobably follow rita's review and watch I do, I do or rewatch Bad family, since I did like it. Good luck reconnecting with your dramas and thank you so much for your lovely messages, I just wrote to Rita that I am completely blissful having conversations on profile pages. I really have not much need for the forums these days lol. I daresay it;s like with reading books- at different ages/times you will get to notice more/something else, that's why I lie rewatching dramas, although part of the reasons is just to meet my beloved characters again.

LOL. What about Bad Family? I enjoyed the drama, it;s pretty light the lead s a realy conving actor and it;s definitely on the funny side at times. I am mostly on Uhm Tae Woong spree at the moment. I know how the Devil ends...I did the same thing as you :P I sometimes do it when I really want to watch the drama at ease and not worry about the ending lol. I saw you finished k2h, well wasn't that a ery good drama? I was so hurt after Shi Kyung though, when you suggested thank you I was still reeling oer from K2h and there wasn't much I could get into...but Thank you came along and saved me so thank you :P Oh the love of dramas is apreading, now she will be addicted haha but it;s so nice to have someone to watch dramas with. I tend to shower one of my MDL friends with comments when I' watching something she recommended...because it is akin to watching the drama together and makes things

I am just devouring it now lol. It's a must see :) After that I am watching some light, however. How about you? How's it going?

I didn;t fin out- thereason I know is because the version I am watching showed the name of the baby Miushil abadnoned in early episode so when Bida appeared I already knew who he was, I just want to see how he finds out, since he clearly doesn't know a thing. But Mishil is pretty tyoung and beautiful. She trully deserved the daseang awards...and that drama had amazing viewershipo too. It's a really great drama.
