That's great to hear! Yes the no free lunch sounds like a fantastic idea! It's interesting he isn't the "Ohhh I'm sooo bored let me dig up the entire garden" type of dog :D Yes, Yellow never did get quite as close to us, he tended to keep to himself in his own little corners, as far away from the Alpha First dog and he shied away from us when we wanted to pet him, because the other dog growled at him, and he just wanted peace and quiet. It was a very difficult time. I am afraid it's very difficukt to take on a puppy when the older dog was used to being the only shepherd of the crowd. Currently we have the two dogs that are somewhoewhat balanced and they two accept each other and they mistly live outside in their kennels. Hahah! My mom too! she didn't really like dogs but learned to accept them and now she is very fond of the lordly dog, his name is quite rightly Emir :D

Title Bad Family
This is quite enjoyable. I watched it ages ago and it was nice to rediscover it. Kim Myung Min can act for sure. It was an ensemble of rioting characters, I thought it worked quite well, though the premise may seem a little far-fetched. And at times it is a bit strained and artificial, but I like how they come to care for each other.

jdtramas seem to be less popular...maybe it;s best if you taske screenshots yourself ;-) You can do it while watching them. If you have a laptop, that would usually be fn+print screen. After that you open say ms paint, paste the screenshot and then you can try and crop it- the ms paint in windows vista already has the option if not, any other graphic editor will do.

I just bought myself a little packet of dutch waffles- and i am eating them. I am not cooking today, I am rebelling, going to spoil myself completely whilst watching dramas. I still have work to do but not today. :P I protest! :D

Sunflower, I seem to live for exchanges like these, they are my drama watching inspiration and thank you for taking the time to respond as well. :) I am a terrible drama addict, I confess. It's almost like a second job at the moment, and it has deteriorated over the years. Yes, I keep putting it aside for now, but I will need a change of mood sometime. I feel japanese dramas provide the depth I need, Korean dramas are more showy- produced with far more glitz. I liked the premise of my boss my hero it's just that the humour was too much for me. I will probably return to it someday, I tend to give some dramas second chances- but at the time when I dropeed it I couldn;t connect with it, though I really liked the premise,. Yukata is a terrific romantic lead, he's got that appeal. I see you dropped a few yourself. What made you drop them?

It was fine as far as the story goes... but I can't connect with it. The ending was cute, but I am not convinced by the actors, it left me very disengaged and detached, but I really like how Koreans are still tackling the theme of entwined fate, and the film provides a really lovely take on the subject. It;s just me who found the actors offputting in this for some reason, I don;t know, it just didnt click with me. So it's a strange film, beause I both like it and don't like it at the same time.

that;s ok, haha ^^ I see. Well sometimes they pick up after episode 5 or so, but I myself do like it when I'm involved in the drama from the end of episode 1. Although sometimes to get involved I watch the last episode first..haha :D

That's why he couldn't tolerate Yellow and thatls why there were always lots of problems...well IF Yellow was getting too close to us, because then the other dog felt threatened/jelous/insecure. So we've had four dogs in the past 20 years. It as a very learning experience. Sometimes it's better not to interfere into the dog fights because they assert balance between themselves but with dogs with a history it really takes a lot...but then it;s very worthwile to do so and I am really keeping my fingers crossed for Achilles and your family. I hope the shelter will come round.

somehow eventually shouting and bringing the dog to order stopped being necessary in oir case though...until we got the other dog. Then it was a whole new dimension of struggle as the older asserrted his dominance and the younger was afraid, but accepted it as well...and was his happy self, though a bit afraid of contact with us, because the older dog was jelious and was asserting himself etc. After some time, the older dog died, we got the one who is behaving like a lord but the other dog from before, let;s call himm yellow, he was still terrified..and then he got cancer and died too....and THEN we got Hector and now the situation is a bit more balanced. But with that firt dog, we had to use a lot of resources to bring him round, leashes, proper punishment, but also a lot of care. He was a terrified dog and later turned into a jealous dog when he got posessive of us.

awww yes, and hels such a unique dog. Man, people should really think BEFORE getting themselves an animal, if they can't keep him or her or bond with her. What bothers me is that they as if already pinned a label on him in the shelter and youre right without you now there is a thin chance hes going to get a chance. But its also difficult to say how long and if at all he would get over his past. He might, but I daresay giving him a lot of patience and love wont be enough, your dad and you will have to work with him, and I know the dad's voice helps with these things- our dog when cowering/flashing teeth, he listened more to my dad than to my brother. Mind you, dad did not hesitate to take a newspaper and give him a little slap BUT at the moment when the dog was acting bad so that he would know he did badly. A lot of those peiople siply donlt know what action-reaction is.

he did but he was always somewhat nervous. Later when we moved to the suburbs and got another dog, he could never quite trust the other dog and so the younger dog was always suffering. Until eventually with the two dogs we have now there is some sort of agreement between them because they have castly different chasracters and the younger is stronger and more brutish so he dominates. The older s more like a lord or something so he tries to avoiud the younger dog, but ultimately he doesnt mind, he;s just....so aloof, like a noble lol. I know, and I don;t like shelter politics either. No, I never realised that its contractual, as if they were lending the dog. They are making things worse right now. I hope the weather will keep up for him until you can take him back. Hopefully it will not go down the lawsuit road that would probably end up lasting a while..and the poor dog doesn't even know

Awwww C4U  I am so saddedned to hear that and I have tears in my eyes as I write this. There was a time when my mom thought it would be best to take the dog we had taken from shelter to be put down, but he came round and he never really hurt anyone except for flashing hius teeth at us if he was feeling theatrened. Of course he doesnt deserve to be ut down, this is precisely the thing- we are first cruel to the dogs, then the dogs are nervous and then we put them down for it, it's a bit of a vicious circle! Maybe they will him for observation for a couple of days. You know this wouldnlt have hapeneed if your stepdad was around at the time I think the dog would have listened to him but at the same time there is no telling if the dog wont stap again and do something worse :(( Blame those dastards who did it to the dog in the first place. :((
