New York - Rochester. Stayed mostly in downtown area and when I wanted to go do some shopping (wanted to buy groceries to minimise my food costs when staying downtown..) I was so surprised I had to take a bus and ride 30 minutes to get to a mall and even longer for a wallmart. lol. frankly, though, the bus ride did me a lot of good- othing like a bus ride to feel slightly more at ease in the surrouding. I have to say, States made me feel very humbled lol, everything is just so big. I flew via Chicago- when I did fly into Chicago after 11 hours I felt like in a movie though with all the skyscrapers and even sun as shining, the weather was so good a week ago there. haven;t really visited your profile in a while but it sure seems like your drama mosnter stays healthy and well fed :D How is time between dog and wolf?
Agreed. She has a certain charm about her. I really like her in Bad Guy.

it's a well told historical, beautiful story. I do hope you will like it. it is a bit lengthy but it takes time to tell it;s story and doesn;t rely on too many gimmicks, either. The writer was good for the drama. What was your first drama?

Hey Sleepyninja! thanks for the message, lovely to hear from you, yes I got a bit crazy with work and then I also went to the states on a study-related trip. I actually attended a conference there. I don;t have much time for forums these days, though I plan to chat activity return over summer/closer to June. How are you? How's your job?

lol. cliches aren;t so bad when done well but i agree about the actress; I thought she fitted the Boys Before Flowers and I like her laughter but she still needs to improve so much. What are you watching currently?

it;s not reaqlly that: i just hate it that the parents are often exaggeratedly presented as some sort of evil monsters- this is really too much; parents should be given proper light, but then of course while most parents will di things out of love and concern, there will be thise individuals whioo do the unthinkable with the parent-child bond...it;s just that i feel there is too much of it in korean dramas. I avoid sad ending tear jerkers but i will watch one from time to time, especially if it has a lot of substance. No, horrors aren;t for me either :)

lol i had a look at it and i don;t really feel like watching it; Jewel in he palace, in turn, has pulled me in completely and I stayed up all ni9ght to watch it, I am now somewhere around episode 30. I love the main character- precisely someone I was looking for in a korean drama. also looking forward to them ginally finding out thingds- they sure delay he discovery of some things she did or who she was, but then again these confessions or suprirses do come at the right moments. the characters are well cast, if slightly type-cast: the rat-looking girls are the gossips, evil wothces are evil witches, though I'll grant that Jeung's rival does teary eyes very very well.

as far as aviation dramas go, better good luck. as far as romance comedy go, it's ok. Ji Jin Hee is a geat actor but the BBF lead girl who stars here too doesn;t convince me; moreover Take Care is really full of some crazy coincidences and very cliched writing and it focuses on the romance between two pilots rather than on the trials and triburlations of being a woman pilot so personally I'm not happy with it but it's not an unpleasant watch, mostly because Ji Jin Hee and most other casr delivers. The setting is interesting, but the writing spoils it. Also at one point they insist Australia is England 0.0

I think you could go with princess man first, then. some amazing acting there. Jejoongwon is slower, but worth the watch. :-) I will mostly like anything, I do like well told love stories, I can also appreciate romantic comedies - but much less, to be honest and provided they do not, say, demonise parent figures. I didn;t like Secret garden for that very reason and trugh be told Huyn Bin is much better in World they live in - another drama which is well worth the watch. Other than tha I don't really have any preferred drama type- but foruntely there are so many made that everyone will find somehing for themselves! What about you?

i am sill revelling in how sexy bad guy is- and the actree who plays Hong Te Ra he older sister: kim nam gil and her are reaslly so professional - but it is a much slower watch for me, mostly because it is not just average revenge/makjang drama and it's so well done- i keep pausing certain parts just for the music too; it deserves savouring rather than consuming at a marthon pace :D and i am re;luctant to see the final episodes a bit too whaa else with kim nam gil would you recommened? That guy is seriously a heart robber. However, it looks like jewel in he palace will likely hold my attention for longer now, because i am oficially hooked on it - but the subs i am reading are not the best sometimes don;t make much sense- i am grateful for them, just make things somewhat more challenging at times. still, i am looking forward to following the story.

haha :D it's from a very well done period piece called jejoongwon: If you're into historical dramas that are slow paced and take time to tell the story, this one is very good, but it is long= 36 episodes. and it's a beautiful and very wide story = set at the enf of joseon era in Korea; about struggles in bringing and establishing western medicine in Korea, very well written and well acted- there is a nice love story there too and very progressive father figure and a very nice leading woman character; if you are into something faster paced, try watching the princess man if you haven't yet - it's a 24 episode drama and an excellent romance.

Thanks, will see ;-) haha yes it had some nice comic moments and i realky loved that story i am glad you found it ineresting too. I will see the other too soon, this ld boy sdoesn;t sound like my cup of tea at all but i will add memories of murder to my watchlist. I started jewel in he palacde- i like the start, very gripping, i kinda feel sorry for the guy who has already met the second of the women. it's very interesting; did you watch the moon that embraces the un by any chance?
this guy is simply briliant. I haven't seen any of his works beside padam padam and he stole my heart in that…
wach a momen to remeber ;-)
