Ah, Kaew Tah Pee, haqven;t seen that one I enjoyed one bouat TV cook byut forgot its name. But I find Thai dramas rather...strange, in that they aren;t that comfortable to watch, I'm not sure I can explain it.

WEll I do hope you will like it :-) the conept in DQ is like in seret Garden but if you like Greatest Love, then you may also appreciate the humour in Don Quixote. Hirposhi Abe in Stay at home Dad or Shiroi Haru or Kekkon Dekinai otoko may also be very nice; in general when choosing a drama I like to follow my own gut feeling; I speifically avoiud reading comments and def disregard how popular a drama is- often dramas are really underappreciated. Lol, I can be very verbose myself because I really wantto convey what I think in an adequate manner that would make my feelings clear to people. Hope you;re enjoying Christmas!

Aww, one of my friend's is the same; he's just down marking essays for undergrads 100 of them during Christmas. But I do hope both he and you will manage to get some restful time.

Well maybe you will gather up patience to watch it one day; the actors do a lovely job and their English is pretty nice too :-) I really liked it myself though I did think it was a bit too slow but then I realised it was a 36 episodes so it's bound to take it's time to develop. And the theme in this particular historical background was really worthwile.

WEll I liked it; its slower than The princess Man but I watched it with interest due to the theme and how tumultous tit proved to be for traditional Korean society. Han HYe Jin and Park Yong Woo did very good jobs at briging out their characters and I really liked the main character, Hwang Jung, who had a lot of obstacles, including his upringing and a kinf of imposed humility, to defeat on his way to becoming a doctor. There is also the question of Japanese-Korean relations and changing political circumstances; itis a drama set in a period of sin gificant changes and I thought the story was qute well multi-layered. I started to care for the characters and moreover; like with most period pieces it's a drama of meanigful gestures and glances. But in comparison to Princess man, the pace is quite a bit slower and it's more steady. And OST is really lovely.
