I liked it most when the FL was a man. Good acting and a nice character. I'm not into this harem thing, so for me it would have been better if she just stayed with her soulmate. I would prefer to stay with my soulmate a few years, than anything else. The FL has this abandonment issue, that's the explanation for her decission. I accept that, I'm just not enjoying it that much. Now this is on my list of try to finish dramas, but not really invested. It's my fault.

Someone can enlighten me about the chinese title? What has eternally yearning to do with a grape sort? Just thinking.

I still want to watch it to the end, just to see the ML's interpretation. It's 'a new Xanxia approach' as someone put it. Interesting with a new take.

I am not speaking about an actress, but a character. This is something very personal (that's why in real life we like different persons). In a drama for me the most important part is that the FL character resonates with my values. It's not about actors, but values. And that is personal. And it depends on script writing, direction and interpretation.

Of course, I hope to enjoy the second part, too (of S1). Sometimes I'm just afraid to have too many expectations. Lately I get stuck halfway in a lot of c-dramas.

I have now watched the part were she acts as a guy. Now she will become the girl, and I kind of know the part I will like the most is the first part. Now comes the girl with all the clichés. And reading the comments, I'm not so fond of Jing. Who wants a companion without backbone.

Yes, I liked that she is outspoken, not afraid to say what she thinks. But I don't like how she thinks, and sometimes she seems so complacent.

Yes, I felt the same about the FL character. She is written so self-absorbed. No excuse for being young, you don't have to be like that. I put this on hold and will eventually finish it, but this character puts me off.

I really like Yang Zi's character here. A wholesome and likable character.
And as a girl, as many have mentioned, not trying to show only a beautiful face! Such a treat!

Yang Zi is great here. The last drama she was in that I liked was Ashes of Love.

I also prefer mature actors. I feel they have often experienced more and can express their emotions better. Historical dramas are often about life and dead situations.

Yes I also want to finish it because of the rest of the cast. It's just I'm taking a break now and put it on hold.
