I'll put it on hold for a while, like I did with TTEOTM. Then I'll resume it later. I surely will watch it to the end, don't want to drop it.

The ML is formidable and has great charisma. Unfortunately, I don't get attached to the FL character. What a waste. That sounds a bit harsh, it's not the actress's fault. It's just it doesn't work for me. And ultimately, it's the directors choice.

Most of the comments here are about the different ML. But if I want to start this, there has to be a good story of the FL. Is the FL's journey intresting? (I'm not so into romance as main focus).

I'm ok with no kisses. But the interpretation of the FL's character (not the actress) is a bit flat, be it the director or the actress, I don't know. The interactions between Zhu Yan and Shi Ying I find quite ok, but Zhu Yan's interactions with others are not convincing. I'm quite divided about this drama. But I'm still enjoying it.

That scene where Zhu Yan disguises as A Yuan's lover was too awkward. It seemed forced, just for the plot to move forward.

I miss her smile in ALP, but the story was not for me (jalous woman trope made me drop it). This one I am watching because I liked Mirror Twin Cities, but I feel it's carried by the ML. The FL story is not as engaging. And yes, for me there is only one Zhao Li Ying. :)

When a priest has feelings for another person, torturing him won't change anything. I thougt that was a bit too much. (Roll eyes).

I've watched almost half of the drama, and I really like how Shi Ying and Zhu Yan are always being supportive of each other and helping each other. No missunderstandings that lead to punishments. That's so nice to watch!

Yes, the FL is portrayed at the beginning as being lazy, and not making the effort after being given guidance. That I find unflattering for the character. I hope she improves rather quickly.

There are more complaints about romance, than about the story. So hopefully I will like it to the end, as I am here for the story!

I am watching this because I liked Mirror Twin Cities. I am at ep 8 and enjoying it. I actually like Zhu Yuan. She is not afraid at all, does what she wants and says what she thinks. Btw some comments here do not make sense or sound weird..
