I only rate dramas that I've completed. The least, it's no final verdict. So I don't care about the ratings anyway. It hints that there may be some flaws, but I'll have to wait till it finishes. Then I'll know if it's worth my time. I'm still enjoying it.

If you think the actors have flaws, that's all rigt. It's your opinion. I think they are good actors. Each of us have their taste, but some comments are actually rude and some are just insulting. I find this behaviour not ok. I myself are no fan of nobody, I just have some preferences.
Now that I'm watching this without expectations, it's light and quite funny. But there are some things that bother me. First, the dubbing voice of FL - her own voice would be better. And second, this outfit for the FL is not pleasant to the eye. It looks like outfits for 10 year old kids. 17 in ancient time is actually an adult. She would have done so much better in a long robe. Sigh....

I think there is something odd with the producer. I felt the same thing with Ever Night Season 2 which had the same producer as Legend of Fei. And the producer is from Tencent? They invest in dramas only for popularity / viewer counts, and not as something artistic.
See she is strong but not as experienced as Xie... If you watch remaining episodes we can clearly see both ZLY…

I just watched the 1st episode halfway. What strikes me is the awful storybuilding. Introduce Fei and show that she is strong, send some assassins to show the defense mechanisms, and finally make her being rescued by the hero. So predictible. Really a sandwitch without flavor. I'll try watch it anyway as I enjoy watching ZLY. But it's a pitty. Perhaps it gets better later, but usually the beginning is the strongest part to catch attention. So there is not much hope. And I'm not here for the romance, but a good story.
